LebTown is featuring a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
This week’s pet is Bindi, owned by Abigail Chase.
Bindi came into Abigail’s life when her friend spotted the then-one year old dog online. Bindi bore an uncanny resemblance to Esme, a dog Abigail had adopted several years earlier. “It was a blurry picture of an unhappy one year old dog,” said Abigail. “I half-heartedly inquired and they remembered me.”
The dog was rescued down south by Crossing Paths, which sent Bindi up north (transport fees waived) to her forever home.
Today Bindi is a beautiful, happy five year old. “She loves people and especially kids,” said Abigail. “Her smile is infectious!”
Good news for Bindi: Her favorite place opens soon. The Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair, located at the Lebanon/Lancaster border, is the perfect hangout spot for this royal looking pooch. The fair’s season runs Labor Day Weekend to Nov. 1.
