In its Gallery 770, the arts council will showcase paintings, sculptures, photography and fabric art by local and regional artists produced during the COVID-19 lockdown. Dr. Joseph Gascho, a cardiologist at the Lebanon VA Medical Center and Penn State Hershey Medical Center, is exhibiting a large photographic composition featuring a grid of masked portraits, while the women’s mask-making group will illustrate the process of mask making, with plenty of examples. The “Women Behind the Scenes” exhibit will also feature commercial spools of thread and elastic left over from Lebanon’s sewing factory era.

Other highlights include rug-hooking images by Julie Hinkle Smith; a sculpture painting installation by Hope Kutenits; watercolors by Maria Gonzalez Pacheco, Joyce Blouch, Helen Ditt, and Pamela Gray; collages by Courtney Reimann; drawings by Lucas Reimann; colored pencil portraits by Joyce Olson; and a landscape in oils by Marlin Freed.

Access to the show will be from the Cumberland Street entrance. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.

Downtown bars and restaurants will be open during First Friday offering takeout and, occasionally, seated dining.

In addition, Holey Truth Body Arts will have a lowrider bike display and will be doing piercings by appointment.

Elsewhere in Lebanon County, The Timbers in Mount Gretna will host outdoor dining, and music from Ken Gehret, Bruce Campbell and LJ Palmer, plus paintings by Bob Heilman and pottery by Jeff White.
