Bethel Township

Harassment – On Sept. 25, 2020 at 5:15 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a call regarding a disturbance on East Main St. Upon arrival, it was determined there was unwanted contact between two individuals during an altercation. Non-Traffic Citations for Harassment were filed on both parties. The Victim/Arrestees were a 26 year old Fredericksburg man and a 59 year old Fredericksburg woman.

Firearm Found Or Surrendered – On Sept. 10, 2020 between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., State Police received a report of an individual opening a FedEx package on the 600 block of Pine Rd. and finding a firearm. The firearm was secured by State Police. Investigation is ongoing.

Drug Possession – On Sept. 29, 2020 at 9:31 a.m., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown on the 00 block of I 78 West yielded the seizure of THC Vape Pens, THC Wax, and additional drug paraphernalia. The Arrestee was a 27 year old Centralia, IL man. The vehicle involved was a 2011 Toyota Avalon. Charges for this incident are to be filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-03.

City of Lebanon

Disorderly Conduct – A 33 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud music) on Sept. 27, 2020 at 4:09 a.m. on the 800 block of Locust St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 28 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Sept. 27, 2020 at 6:14 a.m. on the 500 block of Guilford St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 51 year old man and a 37 year old man, both Lebanon residents, have been cited for Disorderly Conduct (fighting) after an incident on Sept. 27, 2020 at 3:05 p.m. on the 00 block of South 9th St.

Drug Possession – A charge of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana has been filed against Kaitlyn Dunkleberger, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on Sept. 19, 2020 at 4:22 p.m. at 625 Quentin Rd.

Cold Spring Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed – On Sept. 26, 2020 at 3:49 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Operator 1, a 41 year old Muir man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 30 year old Muir woman, was traveling south on Goldmine Rd. Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1 and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, subsequently striking a tree off the left shoulder. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were evaluated by Penn State Life Lion Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel on scene. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were not transported. Passenger 1 sustained a minor cut on her head. Operator 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed away from the scene by Motter’s Towing Company. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 28, 2020 at 9:50 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2017 Chevrolet Trax, driven by Operator 1, a 26 year old Millersville man, was traveling south on Ramona Rd. at the intersection with Reistville Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. Unit 1 failed to respond to the posted stop sign at the intersection, traversed through the intersection, and struck a raised embankment along the shoulder of the eastbound lane of Reistville Rd. After initial impact with the embankment, Unit 1 continued south, airborne, and came to final rest facing south in a grass field located south of the intersection. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Life Lion to the Hershey Medical Center. Operator 1 was cited for Duties at Stop Signs and Restraint Systems. Charges are pending before MDJ Verna 52-3-01.

Theft Items From Motor Vehicle – On Sept. 28, 2020 at 8:40 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a report of a theft that occurred on the 100 block of South Market St. in Heidelberg Twp. Upon PSP arrival, it was discovered that on Sept. 26, 2020 at approximately 10:30 p.m. an unknown Individual(s) stole the gas from the Victim’s vehicle and, in the process, broke the vehicle gas cap. A neighborhood canvas was conducted with negative results for possible leads. The Victim was a 70 year old Schaefferstown woman. The vehicle involved was a 2020 Lexus NX300H. If any information is known about this incident, contact PSP Jonestown. PSP is investigating.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident, Following Too Closely – On Sept. 22, 2020 at 5:03 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred at the Y-intersection of SR 501 and Hilltop Rd. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred when Unit 2, a 2004 Volkswagen Golf, driven by Operator 2, a 23 year old Myerstown man, was stopped on SR 501 Northbound and was attempting to negotiate a left turn onto Hilltop Rd. Unit 1, a 2008 Saturn Astra, driven by Operator 1, a 54 year old Lebanon woman, was traveling behind Unit 2, when Operator 1 failed to notice Unit 2 stopped in the roadway and rear-ended Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained disabling front-end damage and was towed by RJ Sells Towing. Unit 2 suffered minor rear-end damage and was able to be driven from the scene. There were no injuries reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – Sometime between Sept. 13, 2020 at 11:30 p.m. and Sept. 14, 2020 at 6:25 a.m., troopers responded to Laurel Dr. for a report of vandalism to a vehicle and the theft of political signs. Investigation led to additional Victims being discovered in the neighborhood. The Victims include a 56 year old Myerstown man, a 35 year old Myerstown woman, and a 73 year old Myerstown man. The stolen property included Trump and Diamond Political Yard Signs valued at $15.00. The vehicle involved was a 2020 General Motors Corp. Investigation is ongoing.

Myerstown Borough

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – On Sept. 14, 2020 at 3:05 a.m., troopers responded to West Main Ave. for a report of criminal mischief. Investigation revealed the Suspect removed several political signs from the residence, placed political signs on the front door of the residence and the Victim’s truck, toppled a flag pole in the Victim’s yard, and slashed several political flags. The Victim was a 42 year old Myerstown woman. The stolen property included a Trump Yard Sign valued at $15.00. The damaged property included Trump Flags valued at $25.00 and an American Flag and Flag Pole valued at $150.00. Investigation is ongoing.

Harassment – On Sept. 28, 2020 at 7:05 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a report of a verbal argument between neighbors on the 300 block of South Cherry St. in Myerstown Boro. Upon PSP arrival, it was discovered that the Arrestee went over to the Victim’s residence and demanded that he take his political signs down or to move them, so he does not have to look at them. A verbal argument began, in which the Arrestee verbally threatened the Victim and began punching himself in the face. Both parties were separated before police arrival. No injuries were reported at the scene. The Arrestee was cited with a Non-traffic Citation for Harassment. The Arrestee was a 35 year old Myerstown man. The Victim was a 33 year old Newmanstown man. PSP is investigating.

Assault With Weapon – On Sept. 8, 2020 at 7:25 p.m., troopers responded to South College St. and West Richland Ave. for a report of a physical domestic. Upon arrival, it was determined two separate incidents occurred. In the first incident, two females became involved in a physical domestic, exchanging pushes and slaps. In the second incident, two males became involved in a physical domestic, when one male threw rocks at the second male and charged at him. The second male subsequently struck the first male with a metal pipe. The Victims include a 53 year old Myerstown woman, an 18 year old Myerstown woman, a 55 year old Myerstown man, and a 17 year old Myerstown male. Investigation is ongoing.

North Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 25, 2020 at 11:43 a.m., a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Lilac Ln. and Colebrook Rd. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, an 88 year old Mt. Gretna woman, struck Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 60 year old Lebanon woman. Operator 2 was stopped and attempting to turn onto Lilac Ln. from Colebrook Rd. No injuries were reported as a result of this accident. Both Units sustained light damage.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 25, 2020 at 9:40 p.m., a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Rocherty Rd. and Cornwall Rd. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 27 year old Lebanon woman, failed to stop and struck the rear of a Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 58 year old Lebanon woman. Operator 2 was stopped for a red traffic signal. No injuries were reported as a result of this accident. Operator 2 was able to drive Unit 2. Unit 1 was towed.

North Londonderry Township

Scam – On Sept. 25, 2020, a 41 year old North Londonderry Twp. resident fell for and became a Victim of the “IRS Scam,” resulting in the loss of $1,850.00. The bogus IRS agent had the Victim obtain gift cards and then scratch off the back and read the card “pin” number. Police remind the public that the IRS will never call soliciting funds for debts owed. Also, anytime you are instructed to buy gift cards and read the pin number over the phone, it is a scam.

Richland Borough

Retail Theft – On Sept. 26, 2020 at 4:02 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to the 600 block of East Linden St. for a reported retail theft. An investigation revealed the Suspect took two candy bars from the location without paying and fled the scene. Through a search of the area and further information, the Suspect was located and taken into custody and transported to the Lebanon County Booking on felony Retail Theft and a Drug Paraphernalia charge. The Arrestee was a 45 year old Robesonia man. The Victim was Speedway, located in Richland Boro.

Swatara Township

Indecent Assault – On Sept. 22, 2020 between 4:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., this incident occurred on Old State Rd. as the Suspect did touch the Victim’s private areas, over the clothing, without consent. The Victim was a 67 year old Jonestown woman.

Vehicle Accident, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic – On Sept. 26, 2020 at approximately 3:12 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a reported crash on Washington Ave. at Monroe Ave. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2004 Jeep Liberty, driven by Operator 1, a 17 year old Lebanon female, was traveling south on Monroe Ave. and conducted a left turn onto Washington Ave. where she subsequently struck a fire hydrant on the right side of the roadway after taking the turn too wide. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited with Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Union Township

Simple Assault, Harassment – On Sept. 26, 2020 at approximately 9:19 p.m., PSP Jonestown received a report of an inactive domestic at the Ingram Micro Business, located at 80 Micro Dr. in Union Twp. Investigation revealed that a domestic incident had occurred inside of the aforementioned business and the Victim had visible scratch injuries to their face. The Arrestee was taken into custody and charges of Simple Assault and Harassment were filed within MDJ 52-3-04. The Arrestee was a 24 year old Lebanon woman. The Victim was a 37 year old Lebanon City man.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 25, 2020 at 2:06 p.m., this single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle occurred on Interstate 81 Southbound in the area of mile marker 91.3. This crash occurred when Unit 1, a 2007 Harley Davidson, driven by Operator 1, a 60 year old Syracuse, NY man, was traveling southbound in the left lane of I 81. Operator 1 began losing control of Unit 1 and subsequently laid the motorcycle on its side and left the shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 then came to final rest facing north in the right lane. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to its handlebars, front end, and had dents and scrapes up its left side. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by H and S Towing Company. Penn State Life Lion EMS responded and transported Operator 1 to the Penn State Hershey Medical Center for injuries.
