Bethel Township

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 25, 2020 at 1:54 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on I 78 Westbound at mile marker 7.0 in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2020 Kia Optima, driven by Operator 1, a 42 year old Harrisburg woman, was traveling westbound in the lefthand lane of I 78 at mile marker 7.0. Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1 and struck a guide rail off the left shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 then crossed the roadway and struck a bridge rail on the right side of the roadway. Operator 1 was injured from the crash and was transported to the Hershey Medical Center by Life Lion EMS. Unit 1 was heavily damaged from the crash and was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Drug Possession – On Nov. 25, 2020 at 11:54 p.m., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown on SR 22 and Hamlin Rd. yielded the seizure of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident have been filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-03. The Arrestee was a 21 year old Bethlehem man. The vehicles involved included a 2015 Chrysler.

City of Lebanon

DUI – A charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol has been filed against Eric Sevco, a 49 year old Lebanon resident, after being found in his vehicle on the 300 block of Park Ave. on Nov. 7, 2020 at 3:37 a.m. Police were alerted to a possible drunk driver; police located Sevco parked on the 300 block of Park Ave. after witnesses observed him driving from the 00 block of South 9th St. Sevco refused to submit to the blood alcohol test after police allege he failed filed sobriety tests.

Drug Possession – A 21 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Dec. 13, 2020 at 1:23 a.m. on the 1,100 block of Chestnut St.

Harassment – A 59 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Dec. 12, 2020 at 8:13 p.m. on the 400 block of Chestnut St.

Criminal Mischief – A citation for Criminal Mischief has been filed against Jorge Roque, a 33 year old Lebanon resident, after an incident on Dec. 11, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. on the 1,100 block of Mifflin St. He is accused of damaging windows at an apartment with an estimated repair cost of $200.00.

Theft Of Services – A 25 year old Cleona woman has been cited for Theft of Services on Dec. 3, 2020 at 8:01 p.m. on the 600 block of Quentin Rd. Total loss to the merchant is $50.00 for non-payment of food services.

Harassment – A 24 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Dec. 13, 2020 at 4:08 a.m. on the 800 block of Union St.

Open Lewdness – A charge of Open Lewdness has been filed against Anton Vassilev, a 43 year old North Cornwall resident, after an incident on Dec. 12, 2020 at 8:10 p.m. on the 800 block of South 12th St. Vassilev is accused of exposing his erect penis while seated in his vehicle in a parking lot. This action was visible to the Witness who reported the activity.

Theft, Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct – A charge of Theft has been filed against Herman Whitmore, a 48 year old Lebanon resident, after investigation into the theft which occurred on Nov. 20, 2020 after 6:00 p.m. on the 800 block of Walnut St. Whitmore is accused of taking two Christmas inflatables from the property on the 800 block of Walnut St. Total loss to the homeowner is $30.00. Whitmore has also been charged with Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct after an incident on Dec. 4, 2020 at 11:34 p.m. on the 900 block of Church St. He is accused of striking the 26 year old male Victim, causing injury to his face. Whitmore was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and released with ROR bail set at $25,000.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Nelson Rivera, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, after assisting Lebanon County Probation Officers on Dec. 7, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. on the 400 block of South 7th St.

Harassment, Terroristic Threats – A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jorge Roque Jr., a 33 year old Lebanon resident, after an incident on Dec. 10, 2020 at 3:49 p.m. on the 900 block of East Scull St. He has been charged with Harassment and Terroristic Threats for allegedly threatening to shoot and kill the 29 year old female Victim at the above date and time.

Drug Possession – Moses Velasquez, a 35 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Dec. 5, 2020 at 12:57 p.m. on the 200 block of South Gannon St. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe. Velasquez was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Theft Of Leased Property – A charge of Theft of Leased Property has been filed against Henry Redillo, a 30 year old Lebanon resident, after failing to pay for the leased property and fulfilling the agreement of the lease completed on Nov. 20, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Total loss to the merchant on the 800 block of Cumberland St. is $1,218.79.

Theft Of Leased Property – A charge of Theft of Leased Property has been filed against David Bordner, a 25 year old Lebanon resident, after failing to pay for the leased property and fulfilling the agreement of the lease completed on Nov. 10, 2020 on the 800 block of Cumberland St. Total loss to the merchant is $1,079.24.

Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct – A 55 year old North Lebanon man has been cited for Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct on Dec. 11, 2020 at 2:29 p.m. on the 400 block of South 8th St. Strupp is accused of kicking a door at the municipal building, causing the window in the door to break. Estimated repair for the window is $297.00.

Harassment – A 33 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment on Dec. 12, 2020 at 5:47 p.m. on the 400 block of Scull St.

Retail Theft, Public Drunkenness, Drug Possession – Daniel Hepp, a 27 year old with no permanent address, has been cited for Retail Theft on Dec. 18, 2020 at 5:44 p.m. on the 400 block of South 9th St. Total loss to the merchant is $1,598. He was also cited for Public Drunkenness and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Dec. 20, 2020 at 6:45 p.m. at 12th St. and Old Forge Rd.

DUI, Driving While Operating Privilege Is Suspended Or Revoked – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked have been filed against Cruz Rodriguez-Montes, a 57 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on Nov. 26, 2020 at 8:47 p.m. on the 400 block of North 9th St. Rodriguez-Montes was operating a vehicle the owner did not permit him to drive and was observed parking the vehicle on the 400 block of North 9th St. Police allege his BAC was .253% at the time of the stop.

Simple Assault – Maria Fields, a 30 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on Dec. 19, 2020 at 8:56 p.m. on the 300 block of East Lehman St. She is accused of using a knife to cut the finger of the 32 year old Victim during a verbal argument that turned physical. The male Victim suffered a small laceration to his finger as a result of the incident. Fields was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna. She was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Person Not To Possess A Firearm, Escape, Drug Possession – On Dec. 19, 2020 at 2:34 p.m., police observed Jorge Roque Jr., a 33 year old with no permanent address, at a vehicle on the 00 block of North 6th St. Police were aware Roque had warrants for his arrest from the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Department and the Lebanon City Police Department. Police officers confronted Roque, at which time he fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, Roque was apprehended. Police allege Roque possessed a handgun, an additional handgun magazine, heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine. Roque was transported to LCCB. He was charged with Person Not to Possess a Firearm, Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License, Escape, Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (three counts), Possession of a Controlled Substance (three counts), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $250,000 bail.

East Hanover Township

Armed Robbery – On Dec. 24, 2020 at approximately 1:51 a.m., members of PSP Jonestown responded to Kreiser Fuel Service, located at 122 Racehorse Dr. in East Hanover Twp. for an armed robbery. Investigation into this incident has revealed that two W/N-M entered the business at approximately 1:36 a.m. The Suspects spent several minutes looking around at various items before one Suspect approached the cashier and brandished a black handgun, at the same time as the other Suspect went around the counter and took cash from the register. After taking approximately $150 and several cartons of Newport cigarettes, both Suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means. Suspect 1 was observed wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, gray beanie hat, black face mask, gloves, dark-colored pants, and dark shoes. Suspect 2 was observed wearing a black zip-up jacket, a dark-colored facemask, gloves, blue pants, and black sneakers with a light-colored sole. The Victim was Kreiser Fuel Service and a 58 year old W/N-F. The Suspects are two W/H-M. Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 25, 2020 at 9:56 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on I 81 Northbound at mile marker 85.2 in East Hanover Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 1, a 36 year old Fresno, CA man, was traveling in the righthand lane of I 81 Northbound. Unit 1 lost control of his truck and trailer and crossed the roadway. Unit 1 then drove into the grass median of the roadway. Unit 1 sustained damage to its front wheels, fenders, and grill. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by H & S Towing. Operator 1 did not sustain injuries in the crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Heidelberg Township

Accidental Death – PSP Jonestown is investigating an accidental death that occurred at Old Mill Rd. on Dec. 12, 2020 at 12:45 p.m. The Victim was a 12 year old Newmanstown male. The vehicles involved included a 2003 Ford F250 Supercab (pick up) and a 2014 Morris Brothers.

Assault – On Dec. 19, 2020 at approximately 6:07 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to the 300 block of North Market St. in Heidelberg Twp. for a report of a domestic in progress. Investigation revealed that the Arrestee struck the Victim in the face, causing a laceration and swollen left eye. The Arrestee was a 52 year old Myerstown man. The Victim was a 54 year old Myerstown woman. Charges were filed within MDJ 52-3-01.

Theft – This theft occurred sometime between Dec. 1, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. and Dec. 25, 2020. On Dec. 28, 2020 at approximately 6:36 p.m., PSP Jonestown were dispatched to the residence located on the 00 block of Burkhardt Ln. in Heidelberg Twp. for a report of a theft of a check. The Victim related he had a $360.89 PNC Bank check in his mailbox, located on the south side of SR 897 across from the entrance to Burkhardt Ln., sometime in the early month of Dec. The Victim related on Dec. 25, 2020, he checked his bank account when he observed he had no funds in his bank account and his car payment was never received via check. The Victim related he then contacted his bank regarding the incident. The Victim related he then reviewed a picture of his cashed check on Dec. 26, 2020 when he observed the check was altered. The check was stolen from the mailbox by a(n) unknown Actor(s) and altered. The Actor(s) then fled from the scene by an unknown means of travel. The Victims were a 31 year old Newmanstown man and a 30 year old Newmanstown woman. PSP is investigating. Jackson Township

Theft Of Motor Vehicle – On Dec. 19, 2020 at 11:30 p.m., a black 2017 Ford Escape was stolen from the parking lot of the Turkey Hill convenience store, located on the 200 block of West Lincoln Ave. in Myerstown. The vehicle has since been recovered and efforts are being made to develop a Suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194. The Victim was a 43 year old Myerstown woman. The stolen vehicle was a JZS7020 2017 black Ford Escape.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 15, 2020 at 8:22 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Ford Escape, driven by Operator 1, a 44 year old Lebanon woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, an 8 year old Myerstown female, Passenger 2, a 6 year old Myerstown male, Passenger 3, a 6 year old Myerstown male, and Passenger 4, a 5 year old Myerstown male, was traveling south on South College St. Unit 1, for an unknown reason, veered off the roadway via the west shoulder where it struck a tree. Upon impact, Unit 1 came to its position of final rest against a tree. Unit 1 sustained damage to the front end. Operator 1 and all Passengers were wearing their seatbelts when this crash occurred. Multiple airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Operator 1, Passenger 1, Passenger 2, and Passenger 3 sustained minor injuries and were transported to the Hershey Medical Center for further evaluation. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by First Aid & Safety Patrol, Myerstown Ambulance, Newmanstown Ambulance, Keystone Hook & Ladder Co., and C. J. Wagner’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 19, 2020 at 3:57 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on SR 422 Westbound near the intersection of North Ramona Rd. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2014 Ford F150XLT, driven by Operator 1, a 53 year old Pine Grove man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 46 year old Pittston woman, was traveling westbound on SR 422 when it left its lane of travel. Unit 1 struck snow located on the northside of the roadway, which caused Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 rolled approximately two times before coming to final rest facing north off the northside of SR 422 Westbound. Passenger 1 sustained a minor head injury as a result of this crash. Operator 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Both Occupants were evaluated by Myerstown Emergency Medical Services on scene. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to its front end. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by C. J. Wagner’s Towing Company. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Keystone Fire Department. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Lebanon County

Multiple Vehicle Accidents – On Dec. 25, 2020 between 8:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to 11 crashes, including commercial vehicles, on I 81 between mile marker 85 and 93. The crashes occurred due to the cold temperature and icy roadway conditions. I 81 was shut down at exit 85. All traffic was rerouted to SR 22. Minor injuries were reported. No fatalities occurred. The roadway was opened on Dec. 26, 2020 at approximately 1:07 a.m. Anyone having information is asked to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Myerstown Borough

Residential Burglary – On Dec. 25, 2020 at 2:37 p.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown station responded to North College St. for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined the Suspect burglarized numerous houses in the area. The Suspect was later identified and taken into custody. The Victim was a 56 year old Melbourne, FL woman. The Arrestee was a 43 year old Myerstown man.

North Lebanon Township

DUI, Recklessly Endangering – Lacy Kless, a 29 year old Jonestown resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Recklessly Endangering after an incident that occurred on Nov. 14, 2020 in the 2700 block of East Cumberland St.

Simple Assault – Kenard Cruz, a 56 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Simple Assault after an incident that occurred on Dec. 10, 2020 in the 200 block of Gary Ave. in Lebanon.

Possession With Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance – Thomas Auman, a 34 year old Lykens resident, was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance after an incident that occurred on Oct. 8, 2020 in the 1600 block of Heilmandale Rd.

Unauthorized Use Of A Motor Vehicle – Skylar Twaddle, an 18 year old Lebanon resident, and two 15 year old Lebanon juveniles were charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle after an incident that occurred in the 1300 block of East Lehman St. on Nov. 24, 2020.

DUI – Ricky-Lee Strong, a 25 year old Wernersville resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence after a stop at Weavertown Rd. and Mt. Zion Rd. in Lebanon.

North Londonderry Township

Retail Theft – This crime occurred on Dec. 20, 2020 at 1:13 p.m. at Wal-Mart. Jordan Bulchie, a 23 year old Hershey resident, and Jessica Landry, a 23 year old Hershey resident, were charged with Retail Theft after failing to pay for merchandise valued at $196.00.

Swatara Township

Harassment – On Dec. 22, 2020 at 3:05 p.m., State Police responded to Lickdale Rd. for a disturbance. Through investigation, it was determined the Victim and Arrestee became involved in a verbal altercation. The Arrestee then grabbed the Victim by the arm and forcibly removed her cell phone from her hand. The Arrestee then smashed the window out of a door at the Victim’s residence with a mop before fleeing the scene by unknown means in an unknown direction of travel. NTC’s were filed. The Victim was an 83 year old Jonestown woman. The Arrestee was a 29 year old Jonestown man.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 25, 2020 at 10:22 p.m., this crash occurred on I 81 South at mile marker 93 in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2005 Honda Accord, driven by Operator 1, a 38 year old Harrisburg woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 27 year old Harrisburg woman, was traversing south on I 81 South. Operator 1 was traveling too fast for conditions during windy, snowy, and icy conditions and was unable to maintain control of Unit 1 while negotiating a left curve in the roadway. Unit 1 traversed off the left shoulder of the roadway before striking an embankment. After striking the embankment, Unit 1 proceeded to spin counter-clockwise before coming to final rest beyond the left shoulder of I 81 South, facing north. Unit 1 sustained heavy and disabling damage to its front bumper, hood, and engine compartment at the 11 o’clock position and was towed from the scene by Blatt and Tillet Towing. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 of Unit 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving at Safe Speeds and Required Financial Responsibility.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 22, 2020 at 2:49 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 International Harvester Tractor, driven by Operator 1, a 43 year old East Orange, NJ man, was traveling westbound on I 78 at the merger with I 81 South in Union Twp. Unit 2, a 2010 Mazda Mazda 3, was parked, unoccupied, facing west along the right shoulder of I 78 West. Unit 1’s right side sideswiped Unit 2’s left side. After initial impact, Unit 1 came to controlled rest, along the right shoulder of I 81 South approximately 600 yards south of the crash scene. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. Charges are pending before MDJ Ditzler.

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – This crime occurred on Dec. 23, 2020 between 8:50 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. In the commission of this crime, unknown Actor(s) operating a gold minivan of an unknown make, model, and registration pulled next to the Victim’s vehicle in the parking lot of MSC, located at 100 MSC Dr. in Union Twp. The unknown Actor(s) broke the Victim’s windshield and driver’s side mirror. The unknown Actor(s) fled in their vehicle on MSC Dr. This incident is a continuation of a ‘road rage’ incident that occurred on SR 72, just south of Fisher Ave. The Victim was a 38 year old Lebanon man. The vandalized vehicle was a 2017 Honda Accord Crosstour. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 20, 2020 at 5:53 a.m., this single-motor-vehicle crash occurred on SR 72 near the Turkey Hill, located at 500 Jonestown Rd. in Union Twp. This crash occurred as Operator 1, driving Unit 1, a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo, was traveling east on Jonestown Rd. and made a righthand turn onto SR 72 and began heading south. Operator 1 left the righthand side of SR 72 Southbound and struck a snowbank. Motter’s Towing Company removed Unit 1 from the snowbank. Unit 1 sustained minimal damage to its front hood. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash and drove Unit 1 away from the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Theft – On Dec. 28, 2020 at 12:45 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Suedberg Rd. for a reported theft of insulation panels. The panels were located at the neighbor’s residence and returned to the Victim. The Arrestee was a 43 year old Pine Grove man. The Victim was a 49 year old Pine Grove man.

West Lebanon Township

Simple Assault – Brittany Gettle, a 27 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Simple Assault after an incident that occurred on North 16th St. in Lebanon on Dec. 9, 2020.
