Annville Township

DUI, Drug Possession, Driving While Operating Privilege Is Suspended – On March 11, 2021, Annville police filed criminal charges against Jeffrey Miller, a 32 year old Newmanstown resident, with one count of DUI, one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended, Driving with Expired Registration, and Operation of Vehicle without Certificate of Inspection. The charges stem from a traffic stop on Feb. 26, 2021 at 11:51 p.m. in the 00 block of West Main St., where the vehicle driven by Miller had been stopped for traffic violations.

Felony Retail Theft – On March 3, 2021, Annville police filed criminal charges against Andrew Jacob Miles, a 19 year old Hatboro resident, with one count of Retail Theft of Merchandise, valued at $1,261.00 from an Annville business, located on the 700 block of East Main St., which occurred between Dec. 10, 2020 and Dec. 20, 2020.

City of Lebanon

Drug Possession – A 26 year old Swatara Twp. woman has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Feb. 27, 2021 at 4:56 p.m. on the 600 block of Quentin Rd.

Trespass, Public Drunkenness – A 58 year old man with no permanent address has been cited for Trespass and Public Drunkenness on March 11, 2021 at 9:15 p.m. on the 1,100 block of Cumberland St.

Drug Possession – A 43 year old man with no permanent address has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on March 10, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. on the 400 block of South 8th St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 38 year old Lebanon resident man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on March 1, 2021 at 9:48 a.m. on the 100 block of South 8th St.

Curfew Violation – A 17 year old Lebanon male has been cited for Curfew on March 8, 2021 at 2:35 a.m. on the 400 block of North 9th St.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On March 5, 2021 at 4:08 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Operator 1, a 35 year old Myerstown man, was traveling south on SR 501 in Heidelberg Twp. when Unit 1 rear-ended Unit 2, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 2. Unit 2 fled the scene and Unit 1 came to a controlled final rest off the right side of SR 501 at its intersection with Horst Rd. Operator 1 sustained minor injuries to his left arm but refused EMS transport. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Schaefferstown Fire Company and Sheffler’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Jackson Township

Theft – Sometime between Jan. 26, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. and Feb. 9, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., troopers responded to the 00 block of Runaway Dr. to a report of a fraudulent transaction. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the Victim was sent a fraudulent check. The Victim sent funds to an unknown Suspect prior to the check clearing. The Victim was a 38 year old Palmyra man. The stolen property included Money Sent To Suspects Through Cash App And PayPal, valued at $1,360.00. PSP Jonestown is investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On March 1, 2021 at 9:33 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2001 Ford Ranger, driven by Operator 1, a 19 year old Myerstown man, Unit 2, a 2016 Jeep Compass, driven by Operator 2, a 31 year old Rehrersburg woman, and Unit 3, a 2010 Jeep Liberty, driven by Operator 3, a 74 year old Myerstown man, were traveling westbound on West Lincoln Ave. in Jackson Twp. Unit 2 was traveling directly behind Unit 3. Unit 1 was behind Unit 2. Unit 2 was slowing down for traffic conditions ahead. Unit 3 was stopped in the travel lane at the time of this crash. Operator 1, for an unknown reason, did not observe Unit 2 slowing for traffic conditions ahead, causing Unit 1 to rear-end Unit 2. After impact, Unit 2 rear-ended Unit 3. All Units came to their position of final rest where impacts occurred. All Operators were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash and reported no injuries. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Unit 2 and Unit 3 were driven from the scene by their respective Operators. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by C.J. Wagner’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Harassment – On March 12, 2021 at 2:29 p.m., state police responded to North Ramona Rd. for a physical domestic. Through investigation, it was determined that the Victim’s ex-boyfriend became involved in a verbal argument with the Victim which turned physical when the ex-boyfriend punched the Victim and grabbed her by the arm. The Victim’s ex-boyfriend then became involved in a physical altercation with the Victim’s current boyfriend in which pushes and shoves were exchanged. NTCs are to be filed. The Victim was a 31 year old Myerstown woman. The Victims/Arrestees were a 47 year old Myerstown man and a 47 year old Jonestown man.

Myerstown Borough

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – On March 6, 2021 at 10:33 a.m., state police responded to West Washington Ave. for a criminal mischief. Through investigation, it was discovered that the Arrestee smashed the window of a screen door at the Victim’s residence. The Arrestee then fled the scene by unknown means in an unknown direction of travel. An NTC was filed. The Victim was a 26 year old Myerstown woman. The Arrestee was a 25 year old Myerstown man. The damaged property included a Screen Door Window, valued at $100.00.

North Londonderry Township

Retail Theft – On Dec. 11, 2020 at 2:10 p.m., this incident occurred at Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq. Leah Stockman, a 58 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Retail Theft after she left the store without paying for merchandise, valued at $63.66.

South Londonderry Township

Hit-And-Run – On March 6, 2021 at 8:17 p.m., the South Londonderry Twp. police department responded to a hit-and-run accident that occurred at the traffic circle on South Forge Rd. at Northside Dr. A silver VW Jetta, operated by a 20 year old Palmyra woman was struck by an unidentified vehicle driving without headlights on. No one was injured in the crash. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact the South Londonderry Twp. police department at 717-838-1376.

Union Township

Criminal Mischief $1,000+ – On March 13, 2021 at 6:50 p.m., state police responded to Everest Ln. for a criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Through investigation, it was learned that the Suspect became involved in a verbal argument with a store employee through the drive-thru window. The Suspect then entered the store and struck the countertop with a baseball bat. The Suspect also struck and smashed a large, storefront window with the baseball bat, before fleeing the scene in her vehicle in an unknown direction of travel. Charges are to be filed. The Victim was Wendy’s in Jonestown. The damaged property included Store Countertop, and a Large Glass Storefront Window. The vehicles involved included a 2005 Toyota.
