Bethel Township

Residential Burglary – Sometime between July 16, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. and July 23, 2021 at 1:44 p.m., troopers responded to Mount Zion Rd. for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, troopers discovered a bag of coins was taken from a residence. No forced entry was observed. The Victim was an 88 year old Annville woman. Troopers are investigating.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 26, 2021 at 3:36 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2018 Toyota Prius, driven by Operator 1, Arthur Lewis, a 78 year old Asheville, NC man, accompanied by Passenger 1, Cynthia Lewis, a 71 year old Asheville, NC woman, was traveling south on I 81 near mile marker 82. Unit 1 was traveling in the left “passing” lane. Unit 1 failed to maintain its lane, traveling off of the southern side of the roadway. Unit 1 then struck uneven payment, which was Unit 1’s point of initial impact. Unit 1 then continued south of the roadway, striking a guide rail with Unit 1’s 11 o’clock position. Unit 1 then spun approximately 540 degrees, coming to final rest south of the roadway, facing north. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Passenger 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion to the Hershey Medical Center. Unit 1 required towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Heidelberg Township

Theft – On July 23, 2021 at 1:30 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Sheep Hill Rd. for a report of a theft. The Victim was scammed into purchasing $2,986.82 in Apple Pay for an advertisement he observed on the Internet. The Victim was a 20 year old Newmanstown man. Investigation is ongoing.

Identity Theft – This incident occurred on July 26, 2021 as the Victim received an unemployment claim card via USPS that he did not apply for. According to the Victim, he received no financial loss due to this incident. The Victim was already in the process of filing an identity theft report through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industries as required. The Victim was further advised to obtain a copy of his credit report as well as a record of his bank accounts to determine if there were any discrepancies. On July 26, 2021 at approximately 4:00 p.m., all information regarding this incident was forwarded to Agent Syreeta Scott, U.S. Office of Inspector General – Department of Labor via email. The Victim was a 55 year old Schaefferstown man. The stolen property included Personal Identity Information.

Jackson Township

Assault With Weapon – On July 2, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., PSP Jonestown investigated the following incident that occurred on Oaken Way. It was reported that a mother engaged in an argument with her juvenile daughter and then struck her on the head with a handgun. The Victim was a 14 year old Myerstown juvenile female. Investigation is ongoing.

Endangering Welfare Of Child – On May 28, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., PSP Jonestown investigated the following incident that occurred on Martin Rd. It was reported that a 3 year old juvenile poked herself in the eye with a steak knife while at her residence. The Victim suffered an injury to the eye and received treatment at a hospital. No charges were filed. The Victim was a 3 year old juvenile female.

Corruption Of Minors – Members from PSP Jonestown were advised of harassing behavior by an individual on the 00 block of Evergreen Dr. during the span of time between Jan. 1, 2012 at 12:01 a.m. and Dec. 31, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle Accident – On July 24, 2021 at 9:46 a.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2006 Toyota Corolla, driven by Operator 1, a 32 year old Reading man, left the right lane of travel and entered the left lane of travel. Operator 1 then attempted to steer Unit 1 back over and Unit 1 rolled over, striking a telephone pole on the right side of the road. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Leffler’s Towing. Operator 1 was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 sustained injuries of unknown severity as a result of this crash and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to the Reading Hospital. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Schaefferstown Fire Co.

DUI – On July 24, 2021 at 9:46 a.m., troopers responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash at South College St. Upon investigation, Operator 1 exhibited signs of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Operator 1 was transported to the Reading Hospital. The Arrestee was a 32 year old Reading man. The Victim was a 25 year old Myerstown man. The vehicles involved included a 2006 Toyota Corolla Corolla IM. Appropriate charges will be filed.

Myerstown Borough

Identity Theft – This incident occurred on July 22, 2021 as the Victim received an unemployment claim card in the USPS mail that she didn’t apply for. According to the Victim, she received no financial loss due to this incident. The Victim was already in the process of filing an identity theft report through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industries as required. The Victim was further advised to obtain a copy of her credit report as well as a record of her bank accounts to determine if there were any discrepancies. On July 26, 2021 at approximately 4:00 p.m., all information regarding this incident was forwarded to Agent Syreeta Scott, U.S. Office of Inspector General – Department of Labor via email. The Victim was a 48 year old Myerstown woman. The stolen property included Personal Identity Information.

Overdose – On July 26, 2021 at 7:39 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to East Muth Ave. for a report of a 25 year old male suffering from a drug overdose. The male was stabilized and refused further medical treatment. The Victim was a 25 year old Myerstown man. PSP Jonestown is investigating.

North Annville Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 18, 2021 at 12:25 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2006 Buick Lucerne, driven by Operator 1, Cedric Curby, a 25 year old Lebanon man, was traveling west in the 1,700 block of Thompson Ave. in North Annville Twp., when it lost control while negotiating a lefthand curve on the crest of a hill. Unit 1 left the right side of the roadway and struck the front porch of a residence located on the 1,700 block of Thompson Ave., where it caused damage to a support post and rain spouting. Unit 1 continued to travel through the yard of the residence on the 1,700 block of Thompson Ave., which was unoccupied at the time, and impacted the residence, causing structural damage. Unit 1 came to final rest, facing east in the yard where it was hung up on decorative landscaping. Operator 1 attempted to drive Unit 1 away but was unsuccessful. Operator 1 fled the scene on foot. No injuries were sustained in this crash. Numerous charges will be filed against Operator 1 in Magisterial District Court 52-3-04.

North Londonderry Township

Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Theft – On July 24, 2021 at 3:35 p.m., Cody Wanamaker, a 28 year old Manheim resident, was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and Theft, after he entered a home on the 700 block of Plaza Dr. Wanamaker was taken into custody by the North Londonderry Twp. Police Department officers after he was found driving in the area. He was arraigned by MDJ Garver, given $100,000 bail, and is currently in the Lebanon County Prison. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by officers from the Palmyra and the South Londonderry Twp. Police Departments.

Vehicle Accident – On July 22, 2021 at 5:55 p.m., North Londonderry Twp. Police have cited a 29 year old York man with Duties at Stop Signs, following an accident in which he failed to yield the right-of-way to an oncoming vehicle traveling south on South Railroad St. The second vehicle swerved to avoid a collision and struck a third vehicle stopped at the stop sign on West Elm St. The other parties involved included a 43 year old Palmyra man and a 20 year old Union, SC man.

Indecent Exposure – On July 27, 2021, a female resident of the 700 block of West Elm St. reported that between 11:50 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., a dark blue Volvo sedan drove past her residence four times. As the vehicle drove past the residence a fifth time, the male driver had his penis exposed and was touching himself. The vehicle was last seen driving west toward South Lingle Ave. The driver is described as a white male, approximately 20 years old, and was wearing a dark-colored beanie. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are asked to call North Londonderry Twp. Police Department at 717-838-5276.

Vehicle Accident – On July 4, 2021 at approximately 4:58 a.m., police responded to the area of the 800 block of North Forge Rd. for a vehicle into a tree. Operator 1, David Gonzalez, a 34 year old Annville resident, reported that he “blacked out,” before crossing over both lanes of traffic and striking a tree. Gonzalez was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Test results show that Gonzalez’s BAC was 0.21%. Gonzalez is to be charged with DUI, Drivers Required to be Licensed, and the stop sign violation. Charges will be filed with DJ Garver’s Office.

Disorderly Conduct – On July 11, 2021 at 8:53 p.m.,a 19 year old Harrisburg man was cited for Disorderly Conduct in connection with an incident that occurred at the Flagship Cinema, located at 2 North Londonderry Sq., on July 11, 2021.

DUI – On July 21, 2021 at 3:43 a.m., this incident occurred at North Londonderry Sq. and East Main St. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee operated a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 36 year old Lebanon woman. The vehicles involved included a 2004 General Motors Corp. Envoy.

Richland Borough

Endangering Welfare Of Child – On July 11, 2021 sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report of a male aggressively throwing a child onto a bed on West Main St. This investigation is ongoing.

South Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – On April 18, 2021 at 2:35 a.m., PSP Jonestown investigated the following incident. It was reported that an inmate was found to be in possession of suspected drugs at the Lebanon County Correctional Facility, located at 730 East Walnut St. Investigation is ongoing.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 8, 2021 at 5:09 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on I 78 West in the area of mile marker 2 in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2020 Nissan Rogue, driven by Operator 1, a 62 year old Boiling Springs, SC man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 65 year old Boiling Springs, SC woman, Passenger 2, a 7 year old Boiling Springs, SC juvenile male, and Passenger 3, a 5 year old Boiling Springs, SC juvenile female, left the lane of travel, struck the guide rail on the left median, and then traveled across both lanes of I 78, struck the side of the bridge, and came to final rest in the right shoulder. Operator 1, Passenger 1, Passenger 2, and Passenger 3 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Passenger 1 and Passenger 2 did sustain possible injuries as a result of this crash and were transported via First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon to the Hershey Medical Center. It is unknown whether Passenger 3 did sustain injuries as a result of this crash. Passenger 3 was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to the Hershey Medical Center.

Vehicle Accident – On July 23, 2021 at 8:06 p.m., this crash occurred when Unit 1, a 2012 Hyundai Veloster, driven by Operator 1, a 47 year old Lebanon man, left the right lane of South Lancaster St. and struck a concrete guide wall on the Swatara Creek Bridge. After striking the bridge’s sidewall, Unit 1 struck Unit 2, a 2016 BMW 328I, driven by Operator 2, a 29 year old Jonestown man. After striking Unit 2, Unit 1 continued south on South Lancaster St. and struck four mailboxes located on the right side of South Lancaster St. After striking the mailboxes, Unit 1 crossed both lanes of travel and rolled over onto a berm located on the left side of South Lancaster St. in the area of the 300 block of South Lancaster St. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion to the Hershey Medical Center. Operator 2 did not sustain injuries as a result of this crash. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Bunker Hill Fire Co. Charges of Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic for Operator 1 are pending investigation.

Vehicle Accident – On July 26, 2021 at 3:40 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on Swatara Rd. in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2008 Chevrolet HHR, driven by Operator 1, a 70 year old Lebanon woman, was traveling westbound on Swatara Rd. Operator 1 had a bug land on her arm, which caused Unit 1 to leave the right side of the roadway and strike a fence. Unit 1 sustained disabling front-end damage. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Porrini’s Towing Company. Operator 1 was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injury as a result of this crash but was not transported. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Harassment – On July 27, 2021 at 11:51 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to East Hazel St. for a report of a roommate pushing another roommate. Investigation revealed that both parties engaged in a physical argument, where one Victim/Arrestee grabbed and held onto the other as the other Victim/Arrestee bit them. Both individuals were cited with Harassment within MDJ 52-3-03 on scene. The Victims/Arrestees were a 65 year old Jonestown woman and a 64 year old Jonestown woman.

DUI – On July 23, 2021 at 8:06 p.m., troopers responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash at South Lancaster St. Upon investigation, Operator 1 exhibited signs of driving under the influence of alcohol. Operator 1 was transported to the Hershey Medical Center. The Arrestee was a 47 year old Lebanon man. The Victims were a 29 year old Jonestown man, a 23 year old Lebanon man, a 52 year old Lebanon man, a 63 Lebanon woman, and an 85 year old Lebanon man. The vehicles involved included a 2012 Hyundai Veloster and a 2016 BMW 328IS, 328XI, and 328D. Appropriate charges will be filed.

DUI – On July 28, 2021 at 1:48 a.m., this incident occurred on I 78 West. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee operated a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 26 year old Harrisburg woman. The vehicles involved included a 2015 Mazda Mazda 3.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On July 25, 2021 at 2:16 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2012 Ford Fusion, driven by Operator 1, Brody McCoy, a 22 year old Jacksonville Beach, FL man, was traveling south on the SR 22 entrance ramp to turn west onto SR 22 in Union Twp. As Unit 1 was traveling south on the SR 22 entrance ramp, Unit 1 proceeded through a properly posted and functioning stop sign, hitting a concrete barrier. Unit 1 continued traveling west, subsequently hitting a metal guide rail, before coming to final rest, facing west. Unit 1 sustained major impact damage as a result. This damage included a damaged frontal portion, which was pushed in. Unit 1’s front windshield was cracked and the front and driver’s side curtain airbags were deployed. Unit 1 also appeared to have sustained axle damage to its passenger’s side front axle. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 appeared to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Operator 1 was transported via Life Lion EMS to the Hershey Medical Center, where a legal sample of chemical blood was drawn. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Northern Lebanon Fire Department. Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Controlled Substance/Controlled Substances are pending.

DUI – On July 25, 2021 at 2:16 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to SR 72 and Allentown Blvd. for a report of a crash. Through investigation, it was determined that the Suspect was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. The Operator submitted to a legal sample of chemical blood. The vehicles involved included a 2012 Ford Fusion. Charges are pending.

The claim, which was opened by an unknown Actor(s) from an unknown location, used all of his information, including his SSN. The Victim suffered no monetary/financial loss. The Victim further explained that he completed the identity theft/unemployment fraud form with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. All information was forwarded to Assistant Special Agent in Charge Syreeta Scott of the U.S. Department of Labor – Office of Inspector General for further investigation. Anyone with information or who is a potential victim of a similar incident is encouraged to call the Pennsylvania State Police or their local police department. The Victim was a 57 year old Lebanon man. The stolen property included an Unemployment Claim.

Vehicle Accident – On July 26, 2021 at 7:12 a.m., this reportable crash occurred at SR 72 South, just shy of Pine Tree Rd. in Union Twp. Unit 1, a silver 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Operator 1, a 92 year old Fredericksburg man, was making a lefthand turn from the left lane of SR 72 North into the parking lot of Miller’s Restaurant as Unit 2, a black 2013 Ford Focus, driven by Operator 2, a 22 year old Lebanon man, was traveling south in the right lane of SR 72. Unit 1 proceeded to turn in front of Unit 2 without clearance. Initial impact occurred. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash but were not transported. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. Operator 2 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

All information was forwarded to Assistant Special Agent in Charge Syreeta Scott of the U.S. Department of Labor – Office of Inspector General for further investigation. Anyone with information or who is a potential victim of a similar incident is encouraged to call the Pennsylvania State Police or their local police department. The Victim was a 50 year old Lebanon woman.

West Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – A 22 year old Lebanon man and a 20 year old Lebanon woman were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after an incident that occurred at Rutter’s, located at 1621 West Cumberland St. in Lebanon, on July 20, 2021.

Theft, Conspiracy – Shaynz Hardy, a 24 year old Harrisburg resident, and Steven Belk, a 49 year old Harrisburg resident, were charged with Theft by Deception and Conspiracy after an incident that occurred at Boscov’s in the Lebanon Valley Mall on July 21, 2021, after failing to pay for $251.00 worth of merchandise.

DUI, Drug Possession – Orlando Aviles-Llorens, a 25 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and traffic violations after an incident that occurred on March 11, 2021 at 23rd St. and Lehman St. in Lebanon.

Drug Possession – On July 26, 2021 at approximately 7:22 p.m., troopers from PSP Jonestown were on roving patrol on Lehman St., which is located in Lebanon City. Troopers observed a white-in-color sedan with equipment violations. A traffic stop was then conducted in the area of Lehman St. and North 22nd St. Upon interaction with the Operator, a strong odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. The Operator was asked to perform SFSTS. During SFSTS, signs of impairment were observed. The Operator was also in possession of marijuana at the time of this stop, which was subsequently seized. The Operator was then placed under arrest for the suspicion of DUI and drug possession. The Arrestee was a 24 year old Lebanon man. Trooper Wolff is investigating.
