Bennett is a 5-year-old coonhound. He was adopted in 2016 from a farm in Kentucky by Zach and Sarah Warren, who were attending the University of Tennessee at the time.

Bennett and his family moved to Lebanon in November 2020, Sarah says. Zach, she explains, is a minor league player in the Reading Fighting’ Phils baseball team, and she is in grad school in preparation to become an elementary school teacher.

The pup enjoys treats, long walks on the Lebanon Valley Trail System, chasing squirrels, drooling, napping under blankets and howling at almost everyone he sees.

“Bennett should be pet of the week because he loves his new home in Lebanon and wants everyone to know he is here!” Sarah exclaims.

If you happen to see Bennett chasing a squirrel on the local trails, be sure to say hi and congratulate him for being this week’s Pet of the Week!
