GIANT team members volunteered at a produce giveaway with Lebanon County Christian Ministries and surprised the ministry representatives with a donation of $10,000 to aid in the fight against hunger on Sept. 17.
This move was part of the 30 days of hunger action, in honor of Hunger Action Month ™, and to thank Lebanon County Christian Ministries for all the ways they’re contributing in local communities to end hunger.
Hunger Action Month is an awareness campaign coordinated by Feeding America’s food bank network. The goal is to raise awareness and mobilize people about the problem of nationwide hunger.
