Annville Township

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 6, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., this crash occurred on Fisher Ave. at its intersection with Heisey Dr. in Annville Twp. Unit 1, a 2004 Toyota Corolla, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Carlisle man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 17 year old Carlisle male, was traveling south on Fisher Ave., when it left the roadway to the left, striking a headstone in the cemetery at the location. This was Unit 1’s point of initial impact. After impact, Operator 1 attempted to leave the scene but was unable to do so due to the damage to Unit 1. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Bethel Township

Vehicle Accident – PSP Jonestown station investigated a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of South Pine Grove St. and SR 22 in Bethel Twp. The crash occurred on Oct. 10, 2021 at approximately 4:10 p.m. The crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Ford Fiesta, driven by Operator 1, a 21 year old Nesquehoning man, was following Unit 2, a 2011 General Motors Corp Acadia, driven by Operator 2, a 43 year old Lebanon man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 42 year old Lebanon woman, north on South Pine Grove St. Both Units were turning right onto SR 22 East. Unit 2 stopped at the stop sign prior to entering the roadway and was struck in the rear by Unit 1. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Leffler’s Towing. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Vehicle Accident – PSP Jonestown investigated a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash that occurred at the intersection of SR 22 and SR 343. The crash occurred on Oct. 11, 2021 at approximately 3:11 p.m. This crash occurred as Unit 1, described as a black 2015 Toyota Highlander with NY Registration HXY3924, driven by Operator 1, was following Unit 2, a 2020 Chevrolet Sonic, driven by Operator 2, Scott McEntire, a 67 year old Cleona man, north on SR 343. Both vehicles were turning right onto SR 22. As Unit 2 was slowing/stopping for the posted stop sign, Unit 1 struck Unit 2 from the rear. Unit 1 fled the scene eastbound on SR 22. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 2 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. No injuries were observed or reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 9, 2021 at 11:44 p.m., Unit 1, a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Operator 1, a 23 year old Lebanon man, was traveling north on Mt. Zion Rd. Unit 1 drifted to the right, over the fog line, and struck a mailbox on the right shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 had disabling damage due to the steel mailbox being secured in the ground by a steel beam. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 14, 2021 at 5:28 p.m., this crash occurred in front of the property located on the 100 block of East Main St. in Bethel Twp. Unit 1, a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, driven by Operator 1, was traveling west after making a lefthand turn from northbound South Pine Grove St. As Unit 1 completed the turn, the vehicle being towed by Unit 1 came loose from the tow dolly and struck Unit 2, a 2010 Suzuki SX4, which was legally parked on the northside of East Main St. These were both Units’ points of initial impact. After impact, the towed vehicle was able to be secured back onto the tow dolly. No tow was necessary with this crash. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Securing Loads in Vehicles.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., this crash occurred on SR 22 Eastbound approximately 50 yards east of its intersection with Pine Grove Rd. in Bethel Twp. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling in the left lane. Unit 2, a 2003 Toyota Sequoia, driven by Operator 2, a 17 year old Bethel male, was traveling in the right lane. Unit 1 side-swiped Unit 2. Unit 1 continued traveling eastbound on SR 22. It is unknown whether or to what extent Unit 1 sustained damage as a result of this crash. Unit 2 sustained minor damage as a result of this crash and was driven from the scene. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. It is unknown whether and to what extent Operator 1 sustained injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.

Simple Assault, Harassment – On Sept. 26, 2021 at 1:15 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Sunrise Ct. for a reported domestic assault between a father (Arrestee) and a juvenile son (Victim). Investigation determined that the Arrestee punched the Victim in the eye, causing bruising and broken blood vessels, during an argument over the Victim’s choice of clothing for prom. The Arrestee was taken into custody and lodged in the Lebanon County Central Booking Center pending arraignment on charges of Simple Assault and Harassment. Charges are pending before MDJ Wolfe 52-3-03. The Arrestee was a 41 year old Lebanon man. The Victim was a 15 year old Lebanon juvenile male.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 5, 2021 at 8:52 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2001 Honda Civic, driven by Operator 1, a 34 year old Sellersville man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 33 year old Sellersville man, and Passenger 2, a 22 year old Souderton woman, and Unit 2, a 2016 GMC C3500, driven by Operator 2, a 55 year old Martinsburg, WV man, were traveling northbound in the lefthand lane of I 81 near mile marker 85.0. Unit 1 was traveling behind Unit 2. Unit 1 crossed into the righthand lane to overtake Unit 2 on the right. Unit 1 then crossed back into the lefthand lane, where it struck Unit 2. Upon impact, Unit 1 was forced into the right lane, before exiting the roadway from the south shoulder, where it hit an embankment. Unit 1 was also traveling at an unsafe speed with a compact spare tire on its front right side. Unit 1 came to its position of final rest on an embankment, facing a northwest direction. Unit 2 came to its position of final rest on the south shoulder. Unit 1 sustained front and rear damage. Unit 2 sustained front-end damage. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Operator 1, Passenger 1, Passenger 2, and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1, Passenger 1, Passenger 2, and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Gutsie and Blatt and Tillett Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Identity Theft – This incident occurred on Oct. 14, 2021 at 10:33 a.m. as the Victim received a letter via USPS mail indicating that an unknown Actor(s) made a fraudulent unemployment compensation claim in her name, using her personal information (name, date of birth, SSN, etc.). The Victim related that she has been employed at Comcast for approximately 20 years and has never filed for unemployment. According to the Victim, she received no financial loss due to this incident. The Victim was already in the process of filing an identity theft report through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industries as required. The Victim was further advised to obtain a copy of her credit report as well as a record of her bank accounts to determine if there were any discrepancies. On Oct. 14, 2021 at approximately 1:00 p.m., all information regarding this incident was forwarded to Agent Syreeta Scott of the U.S. Office of Inspector General Department of Labor via email. The Victim was a 43 year old Grantville woman. The stolen property included Personal Identity Information (PII).

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 15, 2021 at 4:55 p.m., this crash occurred on the off-ramp from Allentown Blvd. at its intersection with SR 934 in East Hanover Twp. Unit 2, a 2008 Ford Mustang, driven by Operator 2, was stopped at the stop sign on the off-ramp awaiting clearance to enter the travel lanes of SR 934. Unit 1, a 2013 Toyota Prius, driven by Operator 1, failed to observe Unit 2 still stopped at the stop sign and moved forward after stopping to enter the travel lanes of SR 934, striking Unit 2 in the 6 o’clock position. These were both Units’ points of initial impact. After impact, both Units were able to pull off to the side of the roadway. No tow was necessary. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Careless Driving.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 15, 2021 at 4:06 p.m., this crash occurred on the off-ramp from SR 934 at its intersection with westbound Allentown Blvd. in East Hanover Twp. Unit 2, a 2020 Ford Edge, driven by Operator 2, a 58 year old Cicero, NY man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 61 year old Cicero, NY woman, was stopped at the stop sign on the off-ramp waiting to enter the travel lanes of westbound Allentown Blvd. Unit 1, a 2015 Jeep Patriot, driven by Operator 1, Marcus Short, a 26 year old University Park, IL woman, was traveling behind Unit 2 and failed to stop completely, before striking Unit 2 in the 6 o’clock position. These were both Units’ points of initial impact. After impact, both Units were able to pull off to the side of the road. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Passenger 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion EMS to the Hershey Medical Center. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 5:50 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2002 Nissan X-terra, driven by Operator 1, a 43 year old Annville man, was backing out of the driveway located at the residence on the 10000 block of Jonestown Rd. Unit 2, a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Operator 2, Christopher Cave, a 28 year old Lebanon man, was traveling westbound on Jonestown Rd. Unit 1 backed out of the driveway and directly into the path of westbound Unit 2, where impact occurred between the front end of Unit 1 and the front driver’s side of Unit 2. Unit 1 came to its position of final rest in the westbound travel lane, where impact occurred. After impact, Unit 2 continued in a west direction, before coming to its position of final rest partially on the south shoulder and eastbound travel lane. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed from the scene by Porrini’s Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Sverchek, Trooper Gutsie, and Porrini’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Vehicle Entering or Crossing Roadway. Operator 2 was cited for Drivers Required to be Licensed.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 27, 2021 at 3:49 p.m., this crash occurred on I 81 South near mile marker 82.6 in East Hanover Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Peterbilt 379, driven by Operator 1, Jerome Bowman, a 55 year old Baton Rouge, LA man, was traveling south at the above-listed location and subsequently lost control of Unit 1. Unit 1’s trailing unit struck the end of a guiderail and sustained disabling damage to its front as a result. The trailing unit of Unit 1 was towed by Motter’s Towing. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Lebanon County Hazmat, North Lebanon Fire, and Fort Indiantown Gap Fire. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 3, 2021 at 7:26 a.m., this reportable crash occurred on Reistville Rd., just east of its intersection with Prescott Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. Unit 1, a 2006 Ford Escape, driven by Operator 1, Skylar Albert, a 25 year old Schaefferstown man, turned from Prescott Rd. onto Reistville Rd., failing to stay within its lane. Unit 1 traveled off of the shoulder, hitting a utility pole, subsequently overturning onto its side, and then rolling back onto its wheels. Initial impact occurred as the right fender struck the utility pole on the right shoulder of the roadway. Secondary impact occurred as Unit 1 overturned onto its side and back on its wheels. Unit 1 came to final rest, facing west, in the eastbound lane. Operator 1 was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did sustain injuries of unknown severity as a result of this crash and was transported via Schaefferstown EMS to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. Operator 1 was cited for Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.

Indecent Assault – On Sept. 30, 2021 at 8:30 a.m., this incident occurred on Horst Rd. as the Victim was sexually assaulted by her employer. The Victim was a 14 year old Newmanstown female.

Harassment – On Sept. 14, 2021 sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., this incident occurred on West Main St. Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report of a harassment incident that occurred at the above-listed location, involving two juveniles. The investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a 14 year old Newmanstown female.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 2, 2021 at 3:19 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2020 Mazda CX30, driven by Operator 1, a 37 year old Lititz man, was traveling eastbound on West Main St., nearing its intersection with North Market St. Unit 2, a 2008 Kia Sedona, driven by Operator 2, a 25 year old Newmanstown woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 20 year old Newmanstown man, was traveling west on East Main St. Unit 3, a 1999 Toyota Camry, driven by Operator 3, a 25 year old Kleinfeltersville man, was stopped at the stop sign on North Market St. Operator 1 proceeded to make a lefthand turn onto North Market St. without clearance, and, in doing so, hit Unit 2, where impact occurred between the passenger’s side of Unit 1 and the front end of Unit 2. After impact, Unit 1 was forced in a northwest direction, where it struck Unit 3 in the front driver’s side, and came to its position of final rest, where secondary impact occurred. Operator 1, Operator 2, Passenger 1, and Operator 3 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Unit 2’s front driver and passenger airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Operator 1 and Operator 3 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 and Passenger 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and were transported via Schaefferstown EMS to the Good Samaritan Hospital for further evaluation. Unit 2 was towed from the scene by CJ Wagner’s Towing. Unit 1 and Unit 3 were driven from the scene by their respective Operators. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Gutsie and CJ Wagner’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Vehicle Turning Left.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 8:01 a.m., this crash occurred on SR 501 approximately 1/4 mile north of its intersection with Locust St. in Heidelberg Twp. Unit 1, a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Operator 1, a 43 year old Manheim woman, was traveling north on SR 501, negotiating a righthand curve. Unit 2, a 2006 General Motors Corp Savana, driven by Operator 2, a 33 year old Myerstown man, was traveling south on SR 501. Unit 1 crossed into the southbound lane of travel, striking Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Unit 2 sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Firearm Discharged Into Occupied Building – On Aug. 31, 2021 at 10:20 p.m., at South Carpenter St., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to a report of shots fired into an occupied structure. Upon arrival, troopers determined that the Victim’s residence was struck by several rounds. Investigation is ongoing. This appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no current danger to the general public. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194. The Victims were a 45 year old Schaefferstown man and a 25 year old Schaefferstown man.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 4, 2021 at 7:19 p.m., this reportable crash occurred at West Main St., just west of its intersection with Carpenter St. in Heidelberg Twp. Unit 1, a white 2003 Honda Civic, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Lancaster man, was traveling west on West Main St., when it struck the rear end of Unit 2, a black 2010 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Operator 2, a 19 year old New Holland man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 19 year old Denver woman, which was stopped for traffic at the traffic light. Initial impact occurred as the front bumper of Unit 1 struck the rear bumper of Unit 2. Unit 1 and Unit 2 both came to final rest on the right shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 was disabled from the crash and was towed from the scene by CJ Wagner’s Towing. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Jackson Township

Indecent Assault – On Oct. 6, 2021 at 12:15 p.m., this incident occurred on Houtztown Rd. as the Victim was sexually assaulted by an unknown Actor. The Victim was a 17 year old Myerstown male.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 2, 2021 at 6:11 p.m., this crash occurred in front of the property on the 600 block of Houtztown Rd. in Jackson Twp. Unit 1, a 2005 Volkswagen Passat, driven by Operator 1, a 17 year old Myerstown male, was traveling south on Houtztown Rd. and left the roadway to the right, striking a fence. This was Unit 1’s point of initial impact. After impact, Unit 1 came to final rest in the grassy shoulder, facing north. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Vehicle Accident – This crash occurred on West Rosebud Rd. at its intersection with Deep Run Rd. in Jackson Twp. Unit 1, a 2012 Volkswagen GTI, driven by Operator 1, a 16 year old Lebanon male, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 14 year old Lebanon male, was traveling east on West Rosebud Rd. Unit 2, a 2021 Ram 1500, driven by Operator 2, a 26 year old Lebanon woman, was stopped at a stop sign on Deep Run Rd., traveling north. Unit 2 began crossing the roadway and was struck by Unit 1 in the 12 o’clock position. This was Unit 1 and Unit 2’s points of initial impact. After impact, Unit 1 left the roadway to the left side, striking a tree. Operator 1 was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Passenger 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Sexual Assault – On Oct. 4, 2021 at 9:02 p.m., this incident occurred on Evergreen Dr. Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report of a sexual assault between two juveniles. This investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a male.

Jonestown Borough

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 11, 2021 at 9:54 p.m., this crash occurred in front of the property on the 200 block of Twin Creeks Dr. in Jonestown Boro. Unit 1, a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado, driven by Operator 1, a 56 year old Tremont man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 35 year old Tremont woman, was traveling west on Twin Creeks Dr. Unit 2, a 2006 Honda Accord, was legally parked, facing west, along the right curb in front of the property on the 100 block of Twin Creeks Dr. Unit 1’s right front corner struck Unit 2’s left rear corner. After initial impact, Unit 1 came to final rest, facing west, in the westbound lane of Twin Creeks Dr. Unit 2 came to final rest, facing west, along the right curb. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Passenger 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion EMS to the Good Samaritan Hospital. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Millcreek Township

Harassment – On Oct. 9, 2021 at 10:10 p.m., this incident occurred on Eagles Peak Rd. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee was involved in a physical altercation with his girlfriend. She sustained injuries to her face. The Arrestee was a 31 year old Pottstown man. The Victim was a 30 year old Pottstown woman.

Harassment – On Oct. 12, 2021 at approximately 8:58 a.m., troopers from PSP Jonestown were dispatched to a possible domestic-related incident on the 300 block of West Main St. in Millcreek Twp. Upon arrival, troopers located a male and a female, located on the 00 block of South Fort Zellers Rd., engaged in a verbal altercation within a vehicle. While conducting interviews, the female alleged that the male became physical and struck her across the face with an open hand. The male was subsequently charged with Harassment. All charges were filed within MDJ 52-3-01. The Arrestee was a 59 year old Newmanstown man. The Victim was a 46 year old Shartlesville woman.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 14, 2021 at 5:41 a.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on South Millbach Rd., just north of its intersection with Rod and Gun Rd. in Millcreek Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Volkswagen Golf, driven by Operator 1, a 25 year old Newmanstown man, was traveling northeast on Rod and Gun Rd., when Operator 1 did not see the intersection of South Millbach Rd. due to dense fog. Operator 1 began turning right onto South Millbach Rd. to avoid striking an embankment. Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1, striking an embankment and a tree, and subsequently overturning onto its driver’s side. The shrubs and the tree of the property located on the 100 block of South Millbach Rd. sustained damage due to being struck by Unit 1. Operator 1 was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was evaluated by Newmanstown Ambulance and refused medical transport. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Leffler’s Towing Company. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Myerstown Borough

Drug Possession – On Oct. 8, 2021 at 12:52 p.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown attempted to take the Arrestee into custody for a felony arrest warrant on West Main Ave. The Arrestee attempted to flee on foot. A foot pursuit ensued and the Arrestee was subsequently taken into custody. A search incident to arrest resulted in the seizure of drugs and related paraphernalia. This investigation is ongoing. The Arrestee was a 43 year old Myerstown man.

Harassment – On Sept. 1, 2021 sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., this incident occurred on South Railroad St. Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report of suspected physical abuse of a child by a caretaker. This investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a 14 year old Myerstown female.

Identity Theft – On Oct. 15, 2021 at 8:11 a.m., this incident occurred as the Victim was notified by her employer’s Human Resources Department of Penn State University College of Medicine that an unknown Actor(s) made a fraudulent unemployment compensation claim in her name, using her personal information (name, date of birth, SSN, etc.). According to the Victim, she received no financial loss due to this incident. The Victim already filed an identity theft report through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industries as required. The Victim was further advised to obtain a copy of her credit report as well as a record of her bank accounts to determine if there were any discrepancies. On Oct. 16, 2021 at approximately 12:10 p.m., all information regarding this incident was forwarded to Agent Syreeta Scott of the U.S. Office of Inspector General. The Victim was a 47 year old Myerstown woman.

Harassment – On Aug. 29, 2021 at 2:37 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to East Park Ave. for a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined that the caller (Arrestee) and her boyfriend (Victim) were involved in a domestic violence incident. The Arrestee was cited for Harassment. The charge is pending before MDJ Verna 52-3-01. The Arrestee was a 23 year old Myerstown woman. The Victim was a 32 year old Myerstown man.

Suicide Attempt – On Sept. 25, 2021 at 11:48 p.m., this incident occurred on South Railroad St. when the Victim cut his wrist with a pocket knife in an attempt to commit suicide. He was taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital for his injuries. The Victim was a 35 year old Mount Aetna man.

North Lebanon Township

Retail Theft – Samantha Dierolf, a 35 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Retail Theft after an incident that occurred on Sept. 26, 2021 at the Lebanon Wal-Mart, after failing to pay for $211.00 worth of merchandise.

Retail Theft – Brian Evans, a 33 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Retail Theft after an incident that occurred on Aug. 28, 2021 at the Lebanon Wal-Mart, after failing to pay for $448.00 worth of merchandise.

Retail Theft – Lori Hoke, a 46 year old Myerstown resident, was charged with Retail Theft after an incident that occurred on Oct. 8, 2021 at the Lebanon Wal-Mart, after failing to pay for $27.00 worth of merchandise.

Retail Theft – Domingo Torres, a 38 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Retail Theft after an incident that occurred on Oct. 9, 2021 at the Lebanon Wal-Mart, after failing to pay for $814.00 worth of merchandise.

North Londonderry Township

Simple Assault – On Oct. 8, 2021 at 11:55 p.m., Gabriel Bracale, a 26 year old Palmyra resident, was arrested for Simple Assault in connection with a domestic dispute that occurred at his home on the 00 block of Leno Dr. in Palmyra. The Victim, a 33 year old Palmyra woman, was taken to the Hershey Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Bracale was arraigned and placed in the Lebanon County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 13, 2021 at 5:09 p.m., a Grantville resident was driving west in the 1,200 block of West Main St. when she looked down at her leg and struck the rear of the vehicle driven by an Annville resident. The Annville resident’s vehicle then struck the rear of the vehicle driven by a Harrisburg resident. Minor injuries were reported as a result of this crash. The Grantville resident’s vehicle required towing and she was cited for Careless Driving.

South Lebanon Township

Harassment By Prisoner – On Aug. 13, 2021 sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., this incident occurred on East Walnut St. Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report of an inmate at the LCCF throwing objects at and spitting towards Correctional Officers. The investigation is ongoing. The Victims were two men.

Harassment – On Sept. 13, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., this incident occurred on East Walnut St. Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report of a harassment incident in which an inmate harassed a correctional officer. This investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a woman.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 28, 2021 at 7:45 a.m., this crash occurred on Colebrook Rd. and Lawn Rd. This crash occurred as Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 24 year old Elizabethtown resident, was traveling west on Gingrich Rd. in Palmyra, when she failed to come to a complete stop and slid into the intersection, due to wet roadways. Unit 1 struck Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 48 year old Palmyra resident. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 28, 2021 at 8:30 p.m., South Londonderry Twp. Police Department responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Elizabethtown Rd. and Mt. Wilson Rd. Both vehicles sustained front-end damage and were towed from the scene. Both parties sustained minor injuries as a result of this crash. The parties involved included a 21 year old Lancaster man and a 47 year old Lebanon woman.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 30, 2021 at 4:04 p.m., this crash occurred on the 2400 block of Horseshoe Pk. in Annville Twp. Police were dispatched to the area of Risser Marvel Farm Markets for a two-vehicle crash. Unit 1, a Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by Operator 1, a 30 year old Lebanon man, was unable to stop in time and rear-ended Unit 2, a Ford sedan, driven by Operator 2, a 23 year old West Lawn woman, that was stopped in traffic. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 2 was towed from the scene. South Annville Twp. Police Department assisted. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Criminal Mischief – On Oct. 4, 2021 at 9:09 p.m., this incident occurred on the 00 block of Landings Dr. in Annville Twp. Police responded to the Prevail Volleyball Court for a report of a window being smashed out of a vehicle. Police arrived and found a Ford Econoline van had its front passenger’s side door window broken out. Nothing was reported to be missing from the vehicle. The owner believes it occurred on Oct. 4, 2021 between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. If anyone has any information about the incident, they are asked to call the South Londonderry Twp. Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 7, 2021 at 12:34 a.m., Unit 1, a Ford Escape, driven by Operator 1, a 25 year old Annville man, crashed into a utility pole on South Forge Rd. near Mopar Ave., after Operator 1 said a deer ran out in front of him. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 5:34 p.m., this crash occurred on I 81 North at mile marker 93.5 in Union Twp. Unit 1, a 2000 Lincoln-Continental LS, driven by Operator 1, was traveling northbound in the left lane of travel, when it left its lane and struck a guide rail on the left side of the roadway. This was Unit 1’s point of initial impact. After impact, Unit 1 came to final rest on the right shoulder of the roadway, facing north. No tow was necessary with this crash. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, among other citations.

Death Accidental – On Oct. 15, 2021 at approximately 10:55 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 2100 block of Kenbrook Rd. in Swatara Twp. for a death. Investigation revealed that the Victim, a 90 year old Lebanon man, had left to go hunting in his tree stand at approximately 7:00 a.m. The Victim was discovered by his son at approximately 10:50 a.m. The Victim was discovered in his tree stand safety harness with his crossbow still on the ground. It is believed that the bottom portion of the tree stand fell out from underneath the Victim during his initial ascent up the tree, causing traumatic injury to the Victim. PSP is investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 1:12 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Volvo GHD, driven by Operator 1, a 57 year old Chesapeake, VA man, was traveling southbound on I 81 near mile marker 92.9. Unit 2, a 2017 Volvo D13, and Unit 3, a 2015 Kenworth T800, were parked on the east shoulder. Unit 2 was disabled from a previous crash and was attached to Unit 3 to be towed. Unit 2 and Unit 3 were unoccupied when this crash occurred. Unit 1 was negotiating a lefthand curve in the roadway, when Unit 1’s tires lost contact with the wet road surface, causing Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 veered into the left lane, before exiting the roadway from the east shoulder, where it hit the rear-end of Unit 2. Unit 2 then hit Unit 3. Unit 1 came to its position of final rest, where impact occurred. Unit 1 sustained damage to the front-end. Unit 2 and Unit 3 sustained rear-end damage. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Hatters Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Leganza, Trooper Corkery, Trooper Wolfe, PennDOT, and Hatters Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 11:11 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2017 Volvo D13, driven by Operator 1, a 33 year old Arcadia, FL man, was traveling south on I 81 near mile marker 92.9. Unit 1 was negotiating a lefthand curve in the roadway, when Unit 1’s tires lost contact with the wet road surface, causing Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 veered into the left lane, before exiting the roadway from the east shoulder, where it hit an embankment. Unit 1 came to its position of final rest, where impact occurred. Unit 1 sustained damage to the front-end. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Hatters Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Hatters Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Harassment – On Sept. 4, 2021 at 9:04 p.m., State Police responded to Monroe Valley Dr. for a harassment. Through investigation, it was determined that a verbal altercation occurred between the Victim and the Arrestee. The altercation turned physical when the Arrestee shoved the Victim and punched him numerous times. NTC was filed for Summary Harassment. The Arrestee was a 21 year old Jonestown man. The Victim was a 17 year old Jonestown male.

Harassment – On Sept. 4, 2021 at 9:03 p.m., State Police responded to Darkes Rd. for a harassment. Through investigation, it was determined that the Arrestee punched the Victim in the head several times. The Arrestee then threw a can opener at the Victim, striking him in the back. NTC was filed for Summary Harassment. The Arrestee was a 36 year old Jonestown woman. The Victim was a 59 year old Jonestown man.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 8, 2021 at 5:23 p.m., this single-vehicle motorcycle crash occurred on the on-ramp for I 81 South at mile marker 90.0 in Union Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2018 Harley-Davidson Touring, driven by Operator 1, a 48 year old Lebanon man, was traveling south on the on ramp for I 81 South. As Unit 1 was traversing the righthand curve, its rear wheel struck a pothole on the roadway. Unit 1 then went onto its left side and slid onto the shoulder of the roadway. Operator 1 was not wearing his helmet at the time of the crash. Operator 1 sustained possible injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion EMS to the Hershey Medical Center. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Life Lion EMS and Ft. Indiantown Gap Fire.

Theft Of Vehicle Parts – On Oct. 10, 2021 at 12:34 p.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown station responded to SR 72 and Appalachian National Scenic Trail for a report of a theft of a catalytic converter. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined that the Victim’s vehicle was parked at the scene unoccupied when an unknown Actor(s) cut off and removed a catalytic converter from the Victim’s vehicle. This crime occurred sometime between Oct. 8, 2021 at 9:30 p.m. and Oct. 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. This investigation is ongoing. If anyone has any information pertaining to this investigation, they are encouraged to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194 and reference incident number PA2021-1341907. The Victim was a 25 year old Carlisle woman. The stolen property included Kia Catalytic Converter of Kia Sportage, valued at $139.00. The vehicles involved included a 2011 Kia Sportage Sport Utility.

Assault With Weapon – On Sept. 3, 2021 at 2:38 a.m., this incident occurred on Hemlock Hill Ln. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee vandalized the vehicles of Victim 1 and Victim 2, before throwing a metal picnic table at Victim 1 and striking Victim 2 in the forehead with a wooden cross. A consent search of the residence yielded the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, which was located in the Arrestee’s bedroom. The Arrestee was Joseph Dzwonchyk, a 33 year old Jonestown man. The Victims were a 31 year old Jonestown man and a 63 year old Jonestown man. The vandalized vehicles included a 1972 Ford Torino (Fairlane) and a 2001 Ford Explorer.

Vehicle Accident – On Aug. 27, 2021 at 11:56 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 22 East (Allentown Blvd.) in the area of its intersection with Maple Ln. in Union Twp. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, a male, was traveling in the left lane, and Unit 2, a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Operator 2, a 24 year old Myerstown man, was traveling in the right lane. As Unit 2 slowed to prepare to turn right onto Maple Ln., Unit 1 merged into the right lane and Unit 1’s right rear quarter panel struck Unit 2’s left front quarter panel. After initial impact, both Units traveled off of the right side of the roadway. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 2 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. It is unknown whether and to what extent Operator 1 sustained injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 9:36 a.m., this reportable crash occurred on I 81 South at mile marker 86.8 in East Hanover Twp. Unit 1, a white 2016 Volvo Double Cab tractor trailer, driven by Operator 1, Harry Wilson, a 43 year old Milford, ME man, was traveling south in the right lane of I 81. Unit 1 crossed the right fog line, striking the guide rail on the right shoulder. After contact with the guide rail, Unit 1 crossed both lanes of travel, striking the left guide wire, and coming to final rest in the center median, facing south. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 9:36 a.m., this reportable crash occurred on I 81 South at mile marker 86.8 in East Hanover Twp. Unit 1, a white 2007 Double Cab tractor trailer, driven by Operator 1, a 60 year old Allentown man, was traveling south in the left lane. Unit 1 traveled off of the left shoulder and overturned upon reentering the roadway. Unit 1 struck the guide rail on the right shoulder, coming to final rest on its right side across both lanes, facing north. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash but was not transported. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 1:04 p.m., this reportable crash occurred on I 81 South at mile marker 90.9 in Union Twp. Unit 1, a white 2016 International Harvester 4300 box truck, driven by Operator 1, a 32 year old Lebanon man, was traveling south in the right lane of I 81, and Unit 2, a white 2020 Volvo VL790 tractor trailer, driven by Operator 2, a 60 year old Knoxville, TN man, was stopped for traffic in the left lane. Unit 1 crossed the center dotted line and rear-ended Unit 2. After initial impact, Unit 1 and Unit 2 both came to final rest in the left lane, facing south. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Gutsie. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.
