Bethel Township

Assault Serious Bodily Injury – On Sept. 3, 2021 at 9:34 a.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to the Good Samaritan Hospital Rehabilitation Unit on the 900 block of Frystown Rd. in the City of Lebanon for an assault report. The report comes from the Department of Aging. The investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a 70 year old Fredericksburg man.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 27, 2021 at 5:36 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Freeport Rd. and Union Rd. in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Dodge Charger (INCL Shelby), driven by Operator 1, a 20 year old Fort Worth, TX man, was traveling north on Union Rd., south of its intersection with Freeport Rd. Unit 2, a 2009 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Operator 2, a 65 year old Lebanon man, was traveling west of Freeport Rd., east of its intersection with Union Rd. Unit 1 failed to stop at the stop sign on Union Rd. at its intersection with Freeport Rd. and Union Rd. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.

Theft – On Sept. 13, 2021 at 5:23 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Route 22. Through investigation, it was determined that an unknown Actor(s) stole a bicycle that was parked outside the above-listed location. Troopers are investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 22, 2021 at 3:12 a.m., this crash occurred on I 78 East at mile marker 5.3 in Bethel Twp. Unit 1, a 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer, driven by Operator 1, a 17 year old Charlette, NC male, and Unit 2, a 2020 Ford Transit, driven by Operator 2, a 52 year old Saint Cloud, FL man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 51 year old Columbia, SC woman, were traveling east in the right lane. Unit 1 swerved into the left lane and back into the right lane, striking Unit 2. Unit 1 was disabled from the impact. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

City of Lebanon

DUI – On Sept. 19, 2021 at 3:05 a.m., Operator 1, a 44 year old Brooklyn, NY man, was stopped for a traffic violation at Old Cumberland St. and Walton St. During the stop, it was determined that Operator 1 was driving under the influence. Operator 1 was taken to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood test. Charges are pending blood test results. The vehicles involved included a 2017 Hyundai Sonata.

Cornwall Borough

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 23, 2021 at 8:21 p.m., this crash occurred on Boyd St., just south of Granite St. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 19 year old Palmyra resident, was traveling west on Boyd St., approaching a sharp turn, when he traveled off of the roadway and struck a guiderail. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 18, 2021 at 1:50 a.m., this crash occurred on I 81 South at mile marker 85 in East Hanover Twp. This crash occurred as both Unit 1, a 2020 Nissan Altima, driven by Operator 1, a 28 year old Brooklyn, NY man, and Unit 2, a 2019 Volvo VNL, driven by Operator 2, a 42 year old Green Lane man, were traveling south on I 81 South. Unit 1 was traveling in the right lane of I 81 South while Unit 2 was traveling in the left lane of I 81 South, directly adjacent to Unit 1. Operator 1 failed to properly negotiate a left curve in the roadway and traversed into the right lane of I 81 South, sideswiping the trailing portion of Unit 2. After striking the trailing portion of Unit 2, Unit 1 traversed into the center median beyond the left shoulder of I 81 South, coming to final rest, facing south. Unit 2 pulled to the right shoulder of I 81 South, coming to a controlled final rest, facing south. After briefly contacting Operator 2, Operator 1 returned to Unit 1 and fled the scene south on I 81 South. Operator 1 was subsequently stopped on I 81 South near mile marker 77 by members of PSP Harrisburg. The trailing portion of Unit 2 was observed to have sustained mild damage to its driver’s side toolbox and trailer and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 2 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was observed to have sustained moderate damage to its passenger’s side bumper, fender, wheel, and door at the 2 o’clock position as a result of this crash. Unit 2 was subsequently towed from the scene as Operator 1 was placed under arrest. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Accidents Involving Damage to an Attended Vehicle or Property.

Drug Sale – On Sept. 18, 2021 at 1:50 a.m., members of PSP Jonestown responded to I 81 South for a hit-and-run crash. Shortly after the crash, the fleeing vehicle was located by members of PSP Harrisburg. A search of the vehicle yielded bulk marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. The Arrestee was Corey McDonald, Jr., a 28 year old Brooklyn, NY man. The Victim was a 42 year old Green Lane man. The vehicles involved included a 2020 Nissan Altima, a 2019 Volvo, and a 2019 M. H. EBY, Inc. Trailer.

Burglar Alarm – On Sept. 4, 2021, troopers of PSP Jonestown Station were dispatched to the Jonestown Bank and Trust, located at 10103 Jonestown Rd. in East Hanover Twp. for a burglar alarm. On arrival, troopers discovered it to be a faulty alarm. There have been four alarms in the past 12 months that all were faulty. NTC for Control of Alarm Devices was issued to the business.

DUI – On Sept. 3, 2021 at 11:08 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted on a blue-in-color VW Tiguan for equipment violations, while traveling on I 81 Southbound near Homestead Rd. Upon initial interaction with the Operator, a strong odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle as well as the Operator. The Operator performed SFSTS in which signs of impairment were observed. The Operator was then placed under arrest for the suspicion of DUI-D. The Arrestee was a 27 year old Lebanon woman. The vehicles involved included a 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan.

Heidelberg Township

Theft – On Sept 2, 2021, troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to the area of Sheep Hill Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. for a report of a theft. The Victim was told of a grant program and to contact an Agent John Smith. The Victim contacted Smith, and he extorted money from her in the form of Apple Prepaid Cards.

Identity Theft – On Sept. 28, 2021 at 4:51 p.m., troopers had contact with the Victim who related that a fraudulent unemployment compensation claim had been opened in his name. The claim, which was opened by an unknown Actor(s) from an unknown location, used all of his information, including his SSN. The Victim suffered no monetary/financial loss and completed the identity theft/unemployment fraud form with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, in addition to filing identity theft with the Federal Trade Commission. All information was forwarded to Assistant Special Agent in Charge Syreeta Scott of the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Inspector General for further investigation. Anyone with information or who is a potential victim of a similar incident is encouraged to call the Pennsylvania State Police or their local police department. The Victim was a 65 year old Schaefferstown man. The stolen property included Identity.

Reckless Endangerment – On Aug. 16, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., this incident occurred on the 100 block of Michters Rd. PSP Jonestown is investigating an incident where a trash truck veered in the direction of a pedestrian. The investigation continues. The Victim was an 11 year old Newmanstown juvenile female.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 19, 2021 at 8:45 a.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on SR 422, east of Scenic Dr. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Kia Forte, driven by Operator 1, a 44 year old Lebanon woman, was traveling eastbound on SR 422, east of its intersection with Scenic Dr. As Unit 1 was traveling east, a deer ran onto the roadway in front of Unit 1. Unit 1 then struck the deer. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 3, 2021 at 10:29 a.m., this crash occurred on West Lincoln Ave. at its intersection with North Ramona Rd. in Jackson Twp. This crash involved Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 62 year old Myerstown man, and Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 39 year old Myerstown man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 6 year old Myerstown juvenile male, and Passenger 2, an 8 year old Myerstown juvenile male. Operator 1, Operator 2, Passenger 1, and Passenger 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1, Operator 2, Passenger 1, and Passenger 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 27, 2021 at 3:26 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred on West Rosebud Rd. at its intersection with Deep Run Rd. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2020 Mack Trucks Granite, driven by Operator 2, a 47 year old Lebanon man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 33 year old Lebanon man, was traveling west on West Rosebud Rd., turning left onto Deep Run Rd. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling west of East Rosebud Rd., directly behind Unit 2. While Unit 2 was turning left onto Deep Run Rd., it was rear-ended by Unit 1. Unit 1 then fled the scene. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 2 and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. It is unknown if and to what extent Operator 1 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 and Passenger 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.

Burglary Residential No Force – Sometime between Aug. 27, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. and Aug. 31, 2021 at 8:00 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers were dispatched to North Ramona Rd. regarding missing items in their residence. Through investigation, it was discovered that an unknown Actor gained entry through the residence’s front door and took items in the kitchen of the residence. Troopers are investigating. The Victim was an 87 year old Myerstown woman. The stolen property included Apple AirPods, valued at 250.00, and Check For $1,500.00, valued at $0.00.

Disorderly Conduct – On Sept. 3, 2021 at 5:15 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to West Washington Ave. Through investigation, it was determined that the Suspect’s dog was able to break free from its leash and encountered the Victim’s dog in the area. The Suspect’s dog bit the Victim’s dog during the incident. Troopers are investigating. The Victim was a 39 year old Myerstown woman.

DUI Crash – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 11:21 p.m., this collision occurred as Unit 1 was traveling east on the 800 block of Tulpehocken Rd. when Operator 1, a 34 year old Myerstown man, traveled across water on the roadway and lost control of Unit 1. Unit 1 traveled off of the right side of the roadway, where it struck the property owner’s fence and came to final rest, facing east. During the investigation, it was determined that Operator 1 was driving under the influence. Operator 1 was transported to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood test. Charges are pending blood test results. The Arrestee/Operator 1 was a 34 year old Myerstown man. The Victim was a 35 year old Myerstown man. The vehicles involved included a 2007 Cadillac DTS.

Harassment – On Sept. 10, 2021 at 7:28 p.m., this incident occurred on the 300 block of Meadow View Dr. The Victim was a 13 year old Lebanon juvenile female. The Arrestee was a 40 year old Myerstown man.

Theft Of Motor Vehicle – On Oct. 12, 2021 at 10:07 a.m., troopers responded to Wengers of Myerstown for a report of a motorcycle theft. The motorcycle that was stolen is a blue-in-color 1982 Yamaha IT175 dirt bike. Troopers are investigating. The Victim was a 37 year old Myerstown man. The stolen vehicles included a blue and yellow vehicle.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 19, 2021 at 6:48 a.m., this single-vehicle hit-and-run crash occurred on the 400 block of Houtztown Rd. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 Volvo S60, driven by Operator 1, Sean Killian, a 20 year old Lititz man, was traveling north on Houtztown Rd., north of its intersection with Stracksdam Rd. Unit 1 left the roadway and struck seven mailboxes over the course of the 400 block of Houtztown Rd. and the 00 block of Star Dust Dr. Unit 1 fled the scene of the crash. Unit 1 was later located north of where the incident occurred. The Victims were seven Myerstown residents. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Jonestown Borough

Theft – On Sept. 3, 2021, troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to the area of West Market St. in Jonestown Boro. for a report of a theft. Troopers located the Actors and found them to be young children. The parents were contacted.

Myerstown Borough

Harassment – On Oct. 18, 2021 at 1:10 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 100 block of West Main Ave. in Myerstown Boro. for a report of an ex-husband arriving at the residence and causing a disturbance. Investigation revealed that the Arrestee had arrived unannounced at his soon-to-be ex-wife’s residence wanting to see his kids, when an altercation ensued between his mother-in-law. PSP is investigating. The Victim was a 41 year old Myerstown woman. The Arrestee was a 32 year old Lebanon man.

North Lebanon Township

DUI – On Sept. 18, 2021 at 1:36 a.m., Operator 1, Jazmine Bender, a 28 year old Lebanon woman, was stopped for a traffic violation at Ebenezer Rd. and Long Ln. During the stop, it was determined that Operator 1 was driving under the influence. Operator 1 was arrested for DUI. Charges for DUI and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic were filed at Magisterial District Justice Kim Wolfe’s office. The vehicles involved included a 2012 Chrysler.

North Londonderry Township

Harassment – On Sept. 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., this incident occurred at the Palmyra High School, located at 1125 Park Dr. Two juveniles were cited with Harassment after using a cell phone to take a video of another student while in a bathroom and posting it on social media. The Arrestees were a 16 year old Palmyra juvenile male and a 17 year old Manheim male.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 8, 2021 at approximately 9:12 a.m., this crash occurred on SR 72 in the vicinity of SR 72 and Bunkerhill Rd. in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Operator 1, Tina Humphrey, a 33 year old Jonestown woman, traveled off of the right half of the roadway and had initial contact with a building. The building was positioned east just off of SR 72. Unit 1 traveled through the building and came to final rest in a yard north of the building. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to the front bumper. Operator 1 was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 was self-extricated and was located sitting outside of her driver’s door with no obvious injuries. Operator 1 related no injuries. Operator 1 was subsequently taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or a Controlled Substance or Controlled Substances. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Leffler’s Towing, Bunkerhill Fire Co., and First Aid and Safety Patrol.

Theft – On Sept. 1, 2021, troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to the area of Kenbrook Rd. in Swatara Twp. for a report of a theft. The Victim reported that an unknown Actor(s) opened four checking accounts in her name. The Actor(s) also changed her unemployment direct deposit to deposit funds in the accounts.

Theft – On Aug. 29, 2021, troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to the area of Camp Hill Rd. in Swatara Twp. for a theft. A Suspect was identified. This investigation is ongoing.

Death Natural – On Sept. 5, 2021 at 10:45 a.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to the AOK Campground, located at 145 Old Route 22 in Swatara Twp. for a death investigation. On arrival, troopers found the deceased, Edward Taylor, to have died of natural causes with friends present. On scene was Lebanon County Coroner and Emergency Medical Services. Edward Taylor is survived by his mother, Linda Taylor. She was advised of his death by the Amarillo Police Department in Texas.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 23, 2021 at 1:00 a.m., this hit-and-run crash occurred at the intersection of Hunter Ln. and Mountville Dr. in Swatara Twp. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, struck a light pole on the roadside, subsequently knocking the pole to the ground, and left the scene in an unknown direction. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. It is unknown whether and to what extent Operator 1 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash.

Vehicle Accident – PSP Jonestown investigated a single-vehicle crash on Old Jonestown Rd., just west of its intersection with Grace Ave. in Swatara Twp. The crash occurred on Oct. 23, 2021 at approximately 2:38 p.m. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2005 Subaru Legacy, driven by Operator 1, a 25 year old Pine Grove man, was traveling westbound on Old Jonestown Rd. After negotiating a left curve, Unit 1 left the southern side of the roadway and spun clockwise in the grass. Unit 1 dropped into the creekbed and struck the embankment on the western side. Unit 1 came to a position of final rest in the creek, facing northwest. Unit 1 was removed from the scene by Joe May’s Towing. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. A traffic citation for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic was provided to Operator 1.

Union Township

Reckless Endangerment – PSP Jonestown is investigating an incident that occurred on the 00 block of Chapel Dr. on Aug. 28, 2021 at 8:30 p.m. The investigation involves a verbal argument where a car window was smashed. A child was present in the vehicle at the time. Investigation continues. The Victim was a 1 year old Annville juvenile male.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 20, 2021 at 10:10 p.m., this crash occurred on I 81 South at mile marker 88.5 in Union Twp. Unit 1, a 2021 Subaru Legacy, driven by Operator 1, a 48 year old Marietta, GA man, and Unit 2, a 1995 Freightliner Truck, driven by Operator 2, a 30 year old Shippensburg man, were traveling south in the left lane of travel. Unit 2 began to merge to the right lane and was struck on the left rear tires by Unit 1. Unit 1 rolled over before coming to rest on the left shoulder upside down. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Drug Possession – On Oct. 20, 2021 at 10:26 p.m., this incident occurred on the 800 block of I 81 South as the Arrestee was in possession of marijuana. The Arrestee was contacted, inside of his vehicle, while traveling in the backlog traffic at a crash scene. A PSP trooper, directing traffic, smelled the odor of marijuana emanating from the Arrestee’s vehicle and directed the Arrestee to pull over to the shoulder for further investigation. Charges are pending before MDJ Ditzler 52-3-04. The Arrestee was a 25 year old Sheppton man. The vehicles involved included a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 18, 2021 at 8:32 a.m., this two-vehicle hit-and-run crash occurred on I 81 North at mile marker 88.4 in Union Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling in the righthand lane of I 81 North. Unit 2, a 2003 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 2, a 28 year old Beavertown man, was traveling in the left lane, next to Unit 1. Unit 1 left its lane and entered Unit 2’s lane, striking Unit 2. Unit 1 then fled the scene. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. It is unknown whether and to what extent Operator 1 sustained injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.

Identity Theft – On Sept. 8, 2021, troopers met with a Victim from Union Twp. for a report of an identity theft. The Victim received a letter from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services stating that her unemployment is being discontinued. She related that she did not live in Ohio or obtain the benefits. She was given instructions to secure her information.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2021 at 5:54 p.m., this reportable crash occurred on I 81 Northbound at exit 90 on the off-ramp in Union Twp. This crash occurred while Unit 1, a 2016 Freightliner, driven by Operator 1, Nhan Pham, a 47 year old Garland, TX man, was exiting I 81 at exit 90. Operator 1 attempted to slow Unit 1 to negotiate a right curve. Unit 1 continued traveling and began to slide north on the off-ramp. Unit 1 continued to slide, crossing into the glass plain. Unit 1 came to final rest in a jackknifed position, facing southeast, partially blocking the exit ramp. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed away from the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Criminal Mischief – On Sept. 4, 2021 at 10:18 p.m., this incident occurred as an unknown Actor(s) smashed the Victim’s vehicle’s driver’s side window and fled the scene in a blue-colored pickup truck. The Victim’s vehicle was parked in the Love’s Truck Stop parking lot in Jonestown. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194. The Victim was a 52 year old Grantville resident.

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 27, 2021 at 12:39 p.m., this reportable crash occurred on I 81 Northbound at mile marker 88.2 in Union Twp. Unit 1, a 1999 International Harvester 940 tractor-trailer, driven by Operator 1, a 37 year old Mifflintown man, was traveling north in the right lane of I 81. Initial impact occurred as the tire from an unknown vehicle or location became airborne and struck the front grille and bumper of Unit 1. Unit 1 came to final rest on the right shoulder. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.

Theft – On Aug. 30, 2021 at approximately 3:52 p.m., PSP Jonestown members were dispatched to Swift Transportation, located at 3154 on SR 72 in Union Twp. for a theft. It was determined that 21 aluminum wheels, valued at $240.00 each, were taken from inside of their secured parking lot. An unknown Actor(s) cut the chain link fence that surrounds the parking lot and moved the wheels through the woods to the Swatara Rail Trail, where their vehicle was believed to be parked. Trooper Wolff is investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 21, 2021 at 7:43 p.m., this two-vehicle hit-and-run crash occurred in the traffic way of Moose’s LZ, located at 211 Fisher Ave. in Union Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2019 Toyota Tacoma, was parked, facing north, at the above-listed location. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, then struck Unit 2 in the parking lot and fled the scene in an unknown direction. It is unknown whether Unit 1 sustained any damage as a result of this crash. Unit 2 sustained minor damage as a result of this crash. It is unknown whether Operator 1 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash. It is unknown whether and to what extent Operator 1 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash. The parties involved included Christopher Coover, a 20 year old McSherrystown man, of Unit 2.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 22, 2021 at 10:56 a.m., this crash occurred on Awol Rd. at its intersection with Silvertown Rd. This crash involved Unit 1, a 2012 Ford Escape, driven by Operator 1, a 72 year old Lebanon woman, and Unit 2, a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, driven by Operator 2, a 23 year old Jonestown man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 19 year old Harrisburg woman. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Passenger 1 was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Passenger 1 sustained possible injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Bethel Community Ambulance to the Hershey Medical Center. Operator 1 was cited for Vehicle Turning Left.

West Cornwall Township

Deer Struck – Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, an 88 year old Lititz man, struck a deer on Oct. 23, 2021 at 12:06 a.m., while traveling on SR 322 East, just west of SR 72. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene.

Suicide Attempt – On Sept. 3, 2021, troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to Market St. in the area of Swatara Creek Bridge for a report of a male that attempted suicide. Troopers arrived on scene and located the male. He was transported to an area hospital for mental health treatment.

Identity Theft – On Sept. 9, 2021, this incident occurred as an individual received a fraudulent request from unemployment via email. The Victim had not filed for unemployment in 2021.

Vandalism – On Aug. 30, 2021, it was reported that between 4:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the rear window of a silver-in-color Jetta was vandalized while parked in the Victim’s driveway. A possible Suspect is known at this time, pending further investigation.
