A jackpot-winning ‘Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash’ ticket was sold at the Weis Market on East Cumberland St. earlier this week, grossing the unknown winner a cool quarter-million dollars (less withholdings).
Purchased Monday, the ticket matched all five balls drawn: 13-19-23-38-43. The store, located at 1651 East Cumberland St., will earn a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket. In 2020, a million dollar lottery ticket was sold at the other Lebanon Weis store. That store earned $5,000 for being the point of purchase.
If you might be the lucky winner, check your ticket at a lottery retailer or download the official app to validate that way. Lottery officials advise that winners should call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 for more information, and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office. Cash 5 game prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
Chances of winning the Cash 5 jackpot prize are 1 in 962,598, or approximately 0.0001%.
The Pennsylvania Lottery benefits proceeds to programs that benefit older residents. Players must be 18 or older. If you or a loved one needs help with a compulsive gambling problem, call 1-800-426-2537 to reach the Pennsylvania Compulsive Gambling Helpline.
