Here are the most recent food safety violations in Lebanon County, as documented by Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture.

Inspections are taken as a “snapshot” of the day and time, and should not necessarily be taken as overall indicators of an establishment’s cleanliness. Violations are often corrected prior to the inspector leaving the site. Restaurants were found to be in compliance unless otherwise noted.

Customer self-service single-use drinking cups are not displayed and dispensed in a manner to eliminate customer contact with food or lip contact surfaces. This item was on the 2/25/22 report.

A switch plate cover is missing from the light switch in the rear storage area (noted on 2/25/22) and a junction box in the same area is not covered.

The wall area by the 3-compartment sink is starting to deteriorate.

The sanitzer concentration was too low in the 3-compartment sink and too high in the sanitzer pails.

Front door to the outside, located in the front area of the food facility is being propped open.

Observed one cracked plastic food storage container being used.

A box of plastic wrap and two one-gallon containers of syrup were stored directly on the floor of the facility.

The frequency of cleaning under and behind equipment is inadequate. Several areas of the facility are cluttered and disorganized; there are numerous items which are not used in the facility and should be removed from the facility. There were numerous articles of trash on the floor next to the rear handwashing sink.

Ambient air and water temperature measuring device for ensuring proper food storage in refrigeration equipment in prep area, is not accurate to +/- 3°F. Exterior display thermometers were reading°F 36 °F but the food was at 39-41°F. Temperature logs revealed that the food did not exceed 41°F.
