Annubis Productions will be holding its biggest shoot to date for the nascent streaming series, “Diakonia,” at the Lebanon Valley Mall on May 29.

“Diakonia” is a superhero-style series about Ulima, who has been supernaturally gifted and called to do the Lord’s work. As Ulima travels from town to town, she encounters people with gifts that are different from her own. With the help of these people, she discovers and ends acts of evil.

The cycle repeats with each new season as viewers follow along with Ulima in new places.

Erik Soulliard, the writer and director of the series, has been producing sales trailers for the series to drum up support for the project. Previous shooting locations include the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the “Boxie” warehouse, both in Lebanon.

On Sunday, May 29, the crew will return to the Lebanon Valley Mall, where it had held open auditions for the series last fall.

The shoot is not open to the public, but you might catch a glimpse of the production shooting around the mall’s fountain area – however, Soulliard notes that in some ways the fewer people around, the better, from a cinematography perspective. The scenes will feature local extras from the auditions held last fall at the Lebanon Valley Mall.
