Bethel Township

Theft – At 6:34 p.m. April 21, police responded to the Prologis Distribution Center on SR 22 for a scattering rubbish and theft incident. The stolen property included a Tactacam Reveal X Cellular Trail Camera, valued at $120. Investigation is ongoing.

DUI – At 4:59 a.m. May 7, an incident occurred on East Main Street involving a 2015 Subaru Outback. The arrestee, 26, of Horseheads, New York, operated a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

City of Lebanon

DUI – At 2:24 a.m. May 22, police arrested Ashley Destinoble, 22, of Lititz, for driving a 2012 Nissan on North 10th and C&L streets while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

Cleona Borough

Corruption of Minors – At 3:29 p.m. May 16, police received a ChildLine referral involving drug activity in the presence of a 7-year-old Cleona female on North Lincoln Street. The case remains open.

Cornwall Borough

Criminal Mischief – Police charged three juveniles with criminal mischief after a spray-painting incident that occurred on March 20 at an elementary school and Cornwall Borough property.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – At 2:51 p.m. May 24, a crash occurred on Allentown Boulevard at Gravel Hill Road. The crash involved a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 21-year-old Jonestown woman and a 2005 GMC R3500 driven by a 20-year-old Halifax man. Both individuals were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash and were not injured. Police cited the Jonestown woman with turning movements and required signals.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – At 7:23 a.m. May 16, a two-vehicle crash occurred on South Ramona Road at Reistville Road. A 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 73-year-old Lebanon man was traveling east on Reistville Road, approaching South Ramona, and a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 17-year-old Myerstown man was stopped at a stop sign on South Ramona Road at Reistville. The Jeep turned left onto South Ramona and struck the driver’s side fender and wheel of the Volkswagen with its front bumper. The Volkswagen was towed from the scene. Both operators were wearing seatbelts and no injuries were reported, according to police. Police cited the Lebanon man with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Jackson Township

Simple Assault, Harassment – At 7:46 p.m. May 25, police responded to Laurel Drive for a reported domestic violence incident. Police charged Brandon Roland, 32, of Myerstown, with simple assault and harassment. The victim was a 31-year-old Myerstown woman.

Myerstown Borough

Firearm All Other Offenses – At 1:12 p.m. Jan. 11, police were advised of a Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) denial after an individual attempted to purchase a firearm on the 00 block of West Main Avenue who was not permitted to do so. The investigation is ongoing.

North Londonderry Township

Theft By Unlawful Taking – Police charged Roderick Holley Sr., 42, for his involvement in an incident that occurred sometime between May 9 and 10 on the 1300 block of East Main Street. A vehicle was reported stolen from the Lebanon Valley Mobile Homes on May 11. On May 12, Holley was found to be in possession of the stolen vehicle. An investigation followed and Holley admitted to stealing the vehicle.

Driving While Suspended, Disorderly Conduct – At 6:30 p.m. May 16, police cited Joseph Kemberling, 30, of Grantville, with driving while suspended (DUI-related) and disorderly conduct after a traffic stop on the 900 block of Hoffer Road. Police found Kemberling to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police took Kemberling into custody on a probation violation.

Vehicle Accident – At 3:53 p.m. May 21, police cited a 34-year-old Annville woman for her connection with a crash at the intersection of Parliament Drive and Oxford Road. The woman operated a truck that proceeded from a stop sign without clearance and struck a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Annville man. The Annville man’s vehicle required towing. The Annville woman was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

Palmyra Borough

Drug Possession, Operating a Vehicle without a Valid Inspection – At approximately 11:27 p.m. May 9, police noticed a wanted person in the Turkey Hill parking lot. They identified the subject as Nicholas Gonzales, 25. The bench warrant was out of Lebanon County for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Police placed Gonzales under arrest and transported him to Lebanon County Central Booking for processing. Police also cited Gonzales for operating a vehicle without a valid inspection.  

DUI, Failure to Appear – At approximately 12:02 a.m. May 24, police stopped a black Jeep Patriot in the 700 block of East Main Street. Police identified the driver as Christina Whritenour, 40, who was wanted out of the Dauphin County Sheriff’s Department for failure to appear on a charge of DUI. Police placed Whritenour under arrest and transported her to Dauphin County Prison.  

DUI – At approximately 2:31 a.m. May 14, police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Neil Swatsky on the 100 block of North Railroad Street. Swatsky was known to have an arrest warrant out of Lebanon City for possession of a controlled substance. During the stop, police determined that Swatsky was under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. Police also found Swatsky to be in possession of marijuana. Police transported Swatsky to Lebanon County Central Booking on the warrant. On May 19, police filed separate charges against Swatsky for three counts of DUI and possession of marijuana.

Richland Borough

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – At approximately 9:15 a.m. May 27, police responded to the 100 block of South Park Street where, at an unknown date and time, someone defaced a brick monument with the phrase “We watch Pornhub” written in what appeared to be black marker. Richland Heritage Society owns the monument, which was donated by citizens of the community. The damage was valued at $100. Police conducted an area canvass with negative results. Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – At approximately 5:34 p.m. May 23, a crash occurred at the intersection of SR 22 and North Lancaster Street. A 2021 Tesla Motors Model 3 was stopped at a stop sign on North Lancaster Street. A 2001 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 28-year-old Lebanon man was traveling east on SR 22 in the left lane. The Tesla crossed the road without clearance. The Volkswagen attempted evasive maneuvers and struck a guide rail on the south side of SR 22. No injuries were reported, according to police. Police cited the driver of the Tesla with stop signs and yield signs. Police also cited the Lebanon man with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Vehicle Accident – At 3:13 p.m. May 25, a crash occurred on SR 72 at Thompson Avenue. The crash involved a 2010 Ford Flex driven by a 44-year-old woman and a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by a 31-year-old Hughesville man. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. The woman sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Life Lion EMS to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for medical treatment. The Hughesville man was not injured. Police cited the woman with stop signs and yield signs and cited the man with stopping, standing and parking outside business and residence district.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – At 11:40 p.m. May 18, a crash occurred in the Love’s Truck Stop parking lot at 22 Old Forge Road. A 2022 George R Lawson Trailers Truck driven by an unknown person was leaving the lot and side-swiped a 2020 Volvo truck driven by a 31-year-old Markham, Ontario, man. The George R Lawson truck continued in an unknown direction. The Volvo sustained minor damage to a mud flap.

DUI – At 1:55 a.m. May 21, police arrested a 16-year-old Lebanon female for driving a 2011 Nissan Versa while under the influence of alcohol on SR 72 and Jonestown Road.

West Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – At 4:18 p.m. May 21, a crash occurred near Horseshoe Pike and Colebrook Road, when a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Elizabethtown man struck the back end of a vehicle driven by a 60-year-old Lebanon woman.

Vehicle Accident – At 11:24 p.m. May 20, a crash occurred in the 200 block of South Butler Road. A 29-year-old Manheim man lost control of his vehicle, traveled off of the roadway, and sideswiped a utility pole. The driver was not injured, according to police. His vehicle required towing.

Disorderly Conduct – Police cited a 22-year-old Lebanon man with disorderly conduct after an incident at 8:15 p.m. May 19 on the 00 block of West Main Street.
