Editor’s Note: Last year, Michael and Nicole Borrell began reviewing Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and eating attractions as the Lebanon Valley Food Critics. Since then, the couple has aimed to offer unbiased reviews of the eating and drinking establishments the Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to be partnering with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!
This past week was not the norm for the critic crew. One of those days was a long one at the hospital and making dinner was not going to happen.
We decided to grab something close by, which means a pizza shop. Our choice for the night was Greektown Pizza Restaurant. Located at the corner of 6th and Walnut streets, they offer a wide menu from pizza to salads, sandwiches, French fries, baked potatoes, and fried chicken. Their full menu is available on their website.

For tonight’s dinner, we got the taco salad ($9.99) The taco salad came in a fried tortilla shell with all the fixings and light on the jalapeños. Seasoned well, this salad’s shell really stood out. The salad was large and left enough for a second meal.
We also got the four-piece bucket of fried chicken w/ French fries ($12.50). The fried chicken, breaded with their own recipe and pressure fried to a juicy finish. This was a meal I was glad I ordered, and I will surely be going back when I have a craving for excellent fried chicken. And they gave enough fresh cut fries for 3 people.
It was later in the evening when I arrived. Initially they said they didn’t have the stuff to make any more fried chicken. But they were able to make it work and could complete my order, but it would be about 30 minutes. That was fine for me because I was in the mood for fried chicken. The wait ended up being about 15 minutes.
Our take: This place offers a wide menu of freshly prepared food and menu items not typically found at a pizza place. If you want some amazing fried chicken, this should be your stop. Kind and helpful staff that makes some good food. They do offer local delivery. It can be hard to find a parking spot nearby sometimes, but the food makes it worth it.
