Lebanon native Jared Odrick acts alongside Sylvester Stallone in the streaming film Samaritan, which stars Stallone as a former superhero, long thought to be dead, going incognito as “Joe Smith.”

16-year-old Javon “Wanna” Walton, known best for his roles in “Euphoria” and “The Umbrella Academy,” is Sam Cleary, a next-door neighbor who suspects Smith’s true identity.

Pilou Asbæk plays lead bad guy Cyrus in the film, with Odrick playing Farshad, one of Cyrus’s henchman.

The film was originally going to be released in theaters – it was planned for a December 2020 release via United Artists Releasing when Odrick signed on in February 2020 – but pandemic-related delays bumped it to streaming.

Odrick previously appeared as himself in Ballers and acted in the comedy short Filling In.
