LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

This week, meet a trio of Palmyra pups!

Bob Wiest says his canine clan is composed of a mixed set of rescue dogs. Kudzu Karter is a 9-year-old shepherd/cattle dog mix. Pedro Wilson is a 9-year-old Jack Russell terrier/Chihuaua mix. And Peaches Louise was a beagle/mountain cur mix.

Unfortunately, Bob said, “our loving Peaches crossed the rainbow bridge” in July. She was 10 years old, he explained, and died from lymphoma.

Bob tries to keep his dogs active, he says.

“Our walks are not your normal around the block,” he says. “We go through the fields and wood patches. Anywhere from 1.5 miles to 6 miles just about every day.”

Keep your eyes peeled for Kudzu and Pedro … and spare a thought for poor Peaches, too!
