Pennsylvania is arguably one of the best states for dive bars in the country. But would you have guessed that, according to Yelp, the commonwealth’s finest dive bar is right here in Lebanon County?
It wasn’t Oscar’s or Dirty Franks in Philly. Not Gooski’s or Sonny’s Tavern in Pittsburgh. Zeno’s and the Brewery in State College also didn’t make the cut.
Nope, Yelp says the state’s best dive bar is right here in Annville.
According to Yelp’s analysis, which was based on “a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews,” Annville’s Corvette Grille is the top dive bar in the state.
The Corvette Grille, at 202 W. Main St., is a longtime local favorite, known for its wings. The restaurant was closed temporarily following a devastating August 2019 fire, but reopened in the fall of 2021.
The restaurant has a 4.5 average rating on Yelp along with 81 reviews, more than half of which mention its wings.
