A 29-year-old Lebanon man faces charges over gunshots fired Saturday night in Lebanon.

Lebanon city police announced Sunday, Feb. 12, that Christopher Fojo-Candelaria was arrested as a suspect over shots fired at a home on the 1300 block of Brandywine Street at around around 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.

Police said they were dispatched to the area at that time for a report of gunshots fired. According to the news release, police learned upon arrival that the shots were fired at a residence on that block, with further investigation revealing that the parties involved were known to each other.

Police said that this was not a random act of gun violence.

According to the release, police “quickly identified, charged, and took into custody” Fojo-Candelaria.

Police said that Fojo-Candelaria was arraigned over two counts of aggravated assault and one count of recklessly endangering another person. According to the release, bail was set at $250,000.

Further information on the case was not immediately accessible through the state’s unified judicial system, but police said the suspect is in custody.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact city police at 717-272-2054 or Crime Stoppers at 717-270-9800.
