At Tuesday’s meeting, the South Londonderry Township Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed to temporarily lend $120,000 from the operating expenses reserve to the Campbelltown Park project.
The project received an LSA grant for this amount, which will reimburse the operating reserve.
The operating expenses reserve had $430,000 in total.
While a temporary payment of $170,000 for Lawn Fire Company was on the table to be reimbursed by an LSA grant, only Faith Bucks and Jack Custer were present at Tuesday’s meeting. Custer abstained from this decision due to personal involvement with Lawn.
In other news, the board:
- Unanimously agreed to bill Mt. Gretna residents their sewer bills annually.
- Unanimously agreed to end the probation period for Officer Dylan Mohring.
- Unanimously approved a subdivision plan for 7081 Colebrook Road, dividing the property into two lots of around 60 and 57 acres.
- Unanimously accepted an $8,948 quote for line striping.
South Londonderry Township supervisors meet at 27 W. Market St. on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. The next meeting will be held July 11. These meetings are open to the public and do not require registration.
