Bethel Township

Dog Law – At 5:45 p.m. Aug. 9, a 15-year-old Fredericksburg female was bitten by a dog while riding her skateboard on the street on the 100 block of Laurel Drive.

City of Lebanon

Theft of U-Haul Truck – At approximately midnight on July 27, multiple people arrived on the 1400 block of Cumberland Street and removed a white 2005 GMC box truck from the property across the street from U-Haul. The photos below depict one of the suspects and the vehicle used by the suspects. Anyone with any information about the identity of the person depicted or any additional information is asked to contact Sgt. Keith Uhrich or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.

East Hanover Township

DUI, Drug Possession – At 7:17 a.m. Aug. 4, police responded to Allentown Boulevard and Gravel Hill Road for a welfare check of a person slumped over the wheel of a 2003 Volkswagen Passat. Police arrested the driver, Brenton Maher, 45, of Altoona, for DUI, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Heidelberg Township

Assault with Weapon – At 2:38 p.m. Aug. 1, police responded to Old Mill Road and determined that a 52-year-old Myerstown man suffered a laceration on his face from a knife held by Nicholas Lippencott, 18, of Lebanon, who was arrested.

Harassment – At approximately 1:41 p.m. Aug. 3, police responded to the 100 block of Prospect Hill Road for an assault. Police filed a non-traffic citation against a 36-year-old Newmanstown man for harassment of a 38-year-old Newmanstown woman.

North Lebanon Township

Arrest Warrant, Resisting Arrest, DUI – At 12:20 a.m. Aug. 3, police conducted a traffic stop on the 1800 block of Lake Drive on a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox where the driver, Kevin Santos, 30, of Lebanon, was found to have a warrant for his arrest. Police arrested Santos on the warrant. Santos now faces additional charges for resisting arrest and DUI.

Palmyra Borough

Driving While Suspended, Registration Required – At 7:09 p.m. July 26, police pulled over a motorcycle on the 200 block of South Forge Road for operating with an expired registration. Police determined that the driver, Gabriel Velez, 29, had a suspended license due to multiple DUI convictions. Police arrested Velez and transported him to LCCB on probation/parole violations. Charges of driving while suspended (DUI-related, third offense) and registration required were filed against Velez through MDJ Garver’s office.

Public Drunkenness – At 11:59 p.m. Aug. 4, police responded to the 100 block of North College Street for reports of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance. Police identified the suspect as a 23-year-old man who was visibly intoxicated and was determined to have a BAC of .174%. The man was transported home and issued a non-traffic citation for public drunkenness.

Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct – At 8:29 p.m. July 23, police responded to the 600 block of East Main Street for a road rage incident. It was reported that a man got into a dispute with another driver and then kicked and punched his vehicle, causing over $2,000 in damage. Police identified the suspect as Sean Radie, 37. On Aug. 4, charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct were filed against him.

Car Window Damaged – At approximately 11:24 a.m. Aug. 9, a woman contacted Palmyra Borough police and reported that her white Acura TL was damaged while parked on the lot of Anytime Fitness, 625 W. Main St., between 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Aug. 9. The damage consisted of a shattered passenger’s side front window. Stolen Vehicle – At 1:10 p.m. Aug. 7, police responded to the 00 block of East Main Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that the car was parked in the parking lot on the 00 block of East Main Street between 1:10 and 1:15 p.m. when it was stolen. The vehicle is a tan/beige Lexus ES300 sedan bearing PA registration MCZ-0856 with a large dent in the passenger’s side door. Below are photos of the suspect and vehicle. South Lebanon Township

Drug Possession, Driving While Suspended, Operating a Vehicle without Inspection – At approximately 3:21 p.m. July 23, police pulled over a vehicle on East Cumberland Street at South Sixth Avenue and determined that the driver, Aaliyah Taltoan, 26, was in possession of illegal narcotics. Police charged Taltoan with possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, and operating a vehicle without inspection.

Sale or Transfer of Firearms, Unsworn Falsifications – On July 18, police requested an investigation regarding a prohibited person’s attempt to purchase a firearm. On Feb. 3, Edgardo Ortiz, 34, attempted to buy a firearm at Shyda’s Outdoor Center, at 1635 S. Lincoln Ave., knowing he was not legally permitted to do so. Police charged Ortiz with one count of the sale or transfer of firearms and unsworn falsifications.

DUI – At approximately 11:27 a.m. June 13, police responded to the 200 block of Prescott Road for an erratic driving complaint. During the investigation, police determined that the driver of the vehicle, Jessica Camasta, 37, was under the influence of alcohol. Police charged Camasta with DUI-highest rate. Camasta’s BAC at the time of the incident was .256%.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident, Stop Signs and Yield Signs – At 3:51 p.m. Aug. 3, a crash occurred as a 2016 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 52-year-old Fredericksburg man, accompanied by a 50-year-old Fredericksburg woman was traveling east in the left lane of SR 22, approaching North Lancaster Street. A 2019 Hyundai Tucson driven by a 60-year-old Jonestown woman proceeded north from the stop sign without proper clearance. The Jeep struck the Hyundai and sustained disabling damage to the right front. The Hyundai sustained disabling damage to the left front and left rear wheel. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. All occupants were wearing seatbelts, and no injuries were reported. Fire police assisted on the scene. Police charged the Jonestown woman with stop signs and yield signs.

Vehicle Accident, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic – At 8:36 p.m. Aug. 5, a single-vehicle crash occurred on South Lancaster Street, north of Moore Road. A 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 31-year-old Lebanon man was traveling north and crossed over the south lanes of South Lancaster Street onto the left shoulder. The Chevrolet struck a tree off the shoulder, sustained disabling damage, and was towed from the scene by Blatt and Tillett Towing. The Lebanon man was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained an injury of unknown severity, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged the Lebanon man with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident, Unlawful Activities – At 6:57 p.m. Aug. 5, a crash occurred on SR 72, just south of Penny Lane, as a 2005 Toyota Tacoma driven by a 64-year-old Lititz man had a vehicle failure and lost the left rear tire. The tire traveled into the oncoming lane and hit a 2016 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 25-year-old Tower City woman. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The Lititz man was wearing a seatbelt and reported no injuries. The Tower City woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained a suspected minor injury but refused transport. Police charged the Lititz man with unlawful activities.

Vehicle Accident, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic – At 5:23 p.m. Aug. 3, a three-vehicle crash occurred as a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan driven by a 16-year-old Fredericksburg male, accompanied by a 41-year-old Fredericksburg woman negotiated a right turn from Shepherd Street onto Jonestown Road, traveling east. After turning, the juvenile, who was a permit holder, lost control of the Chrysler and entered the west lane, striking the rear driver’s side of a westbound 2021 Honda Pilot driven by a 45-year-old Fredericksburg man, accompanied by a 47-year-old Fredericksburg woman. The Chrysler then struck a westbound 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 22-year-old Fredericksburg woman head-on. All three vehicles sustained disabling damage. All occupants were wearing seatbelts, and no injuries were reported. Fire and EMS assisted on the scene. Police charged the juvenile with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
