Lebanon city police are investigating shots that were fired overnight Thursday, Oct. 19, at an empty BMW parked in the area of North 8th and Church streets.

In a news release, city police said they were dispatched for a report of shots fired and upon arrival located a white BMW parked on the west side of North 8th Street, north of Church Street. Police said the vehicle had numerous bullet holes, with numerous spent cartridges located at the northeast corner.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a white Chrysler 300. Police said there appeared to be a single shooter who fired multiple shots at the unoccupied BMW.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Sgt. Keith Uhrich of the Lebanon City Police Department or submit a tip through the Crimewatch website.
