Bon appétit!

The little critic and I had a free Friday, and we were looking to find something new out there. It’s been a while since we’ve been to the Lebanon Farme’s Market.

In the past few months some new vendors have popped up, with a couple more coming in the next month.

One such new vendor caught the eye of the little critic as we were perusing. She is always drawn towards sweet treats, which is what she found Red’s Cupcakery.

Located one the first floor, just inside the doors off 8th street, this stand offers cupcakes, cookies, brownies, cakes, and hot drinks. Today we selected two jumbo cupcakes ($3.50 each), chocolate mint and maple bacon. Each cupcake is adorned with a treat on top relative to its flavor. Our cakes were moist, and the icing was rich with flavor.

I chose the maple bacon since it was not a commonly seen cupcake. This sweet bacon flavor will satisfy the bacon fan’s craving. Not only is the piece of bacon on top, but bacon bits are baked into the cake. Giving you the true bacon flavor throughout each bite. You can tell these cupcakes are made from scratch.

Our take: These made from scratch treats are delicious. While carrying the standard flavors, you will find some different ones mixed in as well. Plenty of options to choose from. Stop in and treat yourself to some sweet and savory treats.

We give this place 🥓🥓🥓🥓.
