The United Way of Lebanon County announced today that appointments are being scheduled from January 29 through March 25 for the Lebanon County Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
Through VITA, individuals and families who reside in Lebanon County and have income of $60,000 or less in 2023 can receive assistance preparing and filing their 2023 federal and state tax returns free-of-charge from volunteers who are IRS trained and certified. To schedule an appointment dial 211 on your telephone any time Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Appointments will be available starting Jan. 29.
VITA is a service provided by community volunteers, Grace United Church of Christ, Salem Lutheran Church, Community Action Partnership of Lebanon County and The Lebanon County United Way. It is made possible, in part, through a grant from the First Energy Foundation.
