The Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging recently released details on its five-center winter party lunch and two recurring events: its Mornings Out! monthly breakfasts and its Generations of Pride quarterly dinners.
Winter party lunch
A winter party lunch will be hosted by all five Senior Community Centers in the area on Thursday, Feb. 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The meal’s chili bar will feature not overly spicy chili with baked potato, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, shredded cheese, cornbread, tortilla chips, diced pineapple, and cherry pie for dessert.
A $4.50 donation on the day of the event is suggested. Dine-in and take-out options will be available.
To reserve a spot at the event or to find out more information about the hosting organization, please contact the center location of your choice no later than Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Mornings Out! monthly breakfasts
The Lebanon County Senior Community Center Program will host a breakfast event for LGBTQ and everyone on Tuesday, Feb. 6. The 60+ LGBTQ and everyone in between breakfast group will meet at 8:30 a.m. at Funck’s in Palmyra.
The group meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month, and themes for 2024 include: All the Love (Feb. 6), Senior Nutrition (March 5), Volunteers (April 2), Military (May 7), Pride Month (June 4), Independence for All (July 2), Self Care (Aug. 6), Fall Prevention (Sept. 3), and Election Day (Nov. 5).

Generations of Pride quarterly dinners
The Lebanon County Senior Community Center Program will host its quarterly dinners on the second Saturday of March, June, September, and December. They will be LGBTQ and everyone in between events.
The dinners, titled “There is Always a Fresh Start,” “Pride+History=Greatness,” “Pumpkins & Perennials,” and “Mix & Jingle,” will be served at 6 p.m. on March 9, June 8, Sept. 14, and Dec. 14, respectively, at the Downtown Lounge.
All 21+ people are welcome to attend. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the LCAAA Office at 717-273-9262. “We’ll make the reservations, you eat the food!”
