Making a Difference of Lebanon, PA, has opened its 2024 scholarship contest to local high school seniors who are pursuing higher education.
Three non-renewable scholarships for $1,000 are available to students who are attending college or entering a technical program or other license/certification course after graduation. Applicants must also reside and attend high school in Lebanon County.

The scholarships are meant for students who are actively serving their community and whose values align with Making a Difference’s mission, which is “to build lasting relationships throughout the Lebanon County community by providing services to youth, veterans, and those in need, through Education, Service, Projects, and Events.” Applicants must complete an essay of 500 words or less explaining what they have done to make a difference in their school and community during their high school career.
Applications are due by April 1. Winners will be encouraged to attend an awards reception on May 9 to receive their scholarship.
