If you’re looking for a way to jumpstart your new year’s health goals, the Penn State Extension will host a workshop to teach you how to cook healthier food.

The Let’s Cook for Weight Management workshop will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29, at the Penn State Extension Lebanon County Office, 2120 Cornwall Road, Suite 1, Lebanon.

Attendees will learn from Penn State Extension’s Food, Families, and Communities Unit educators how to make healthy meals and snacks that can help them manage their weight.

The hands-on workshop will cover the basics of weight management and how to feel full with fewer calories. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sample a variety of healthy recipes.

Space is limited, so registration is open until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27. The workshop has a registration fee of $30 per person.
