Rachel Moyer, state representative candidate for the 102nd District, will hold a fundraiser dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Schaefferstown Fire Hall.
Moyer, a Republican and an ELCO school board member since 2021, is challenging state Rep. Russ Diamond for the seat. Diamond elected to his first two-year term in 2014 and has not had a primary challenger since 2016.

“As constituents have increasingly felt unheard and misrepresented, this catered event will serve as a rallying point for voters to advance and support an alternative to their current representation in Harrisburg,” Moyer said in the release.
The fire hall is located at Locust and West Oak streets, Shaefferstown. Guest speakers will be state Senator Doug Mastriano, who has backed Moyer’s campaign, and the senator’s wife, Rebbie Mastriano.
The 102nd Legislative District includes Annville, Bethel, Cold Spring, East Hanover, Heidelberg, Jackson, Millcreek, North Annville, North Londonderry, Swatara, and Union townships and Cleona, Jonestown, Myerstown, Palmyra and Richland boroughs.
More information and ticket reservations are available online.
