A $3.9 million resurfacing project in Lebanon County is set to get underway on Monday, April 1, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
The resurfacing project will impact drivers in two areas.
In eastern Lebanon County, work on Race Street will extend from Main Street in Richland Borough to Norma Lane at the Berks County line in Jackson Township.
Separately, work will be done on State Drive from Zinns Mill Road to Elm Street in South Lebanon Township.
Work on both routes will include resurfacing the existing roadway, milling, base replacement, drainage improvements, signing updates, pavement markings, ADA ramp improvements, and other miscellaneous construction.
Lanes will be shifted to maintain travel in all directions, however short-term flagging operations may be needed. The project is expected to be completed by July 26.
JVI Group Inc. of York Springs has been awarded the contract for $3,993,592.
