Road Crew Member
Swatara Township, Lebanon County, is seeking a full-time Road Crew Member.
Overview:
The Road Crew performs maintenance on Township owned roads, facilities and open spaces.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL driver’s license is required, minimum Class B
- Ability to operate and tools and equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to keep certifications current as required
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
- Must have a positive attitude and work well with others
- Must be safety oriented
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with mandatory seasonal overtime required.
Mt. Gretna Borough
Financial Administrator and Office Manager
The Mount Gretna Borough seeks a financial administrator to maintain records and serve as Borough office manager.
The position reports to the Director of Public Works. The position requires administrative and public interface responsibilities. This employee maintains records using financial management software for financial transactions for:
- Mount Gretna Borough
- Mount Gretna Authority
- Pennsylvania Chautauqua, including the Mount Gretna Art Show and Summer Programs, Playhouse Operating Committee, and the Pennsylvania Chautauqua Foundation
This employee also processes Payroll for Borough Employees. This includes filing state and federal payroll taxes and Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System pension contributions. Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office required.
