The Palmyra Public Library has announced that its annual used book sale will take place from Saturday, July 13, to Thursday, July 18, at Palmyra First United Methodist Church, 520 E. Birch St., Palmyra.

Starting at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, there will be an early bird preview for those who would like to purchase some books before the sale opens to the general public. Shoppers will pay a $5 admission fee and will be limited to 30 items, which will be priced as marked.

The used book sale will open to the general public on Saturday, July 13, starting at 9 a.m. and running until 1 p.m. Then, on Monday, July 15, and Tuesday, July 16, the general public can shop from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. These shopping windows will offer books for sale at regular price.

On Wednesday, July 17, shoppers from the general public can purchase books at half price from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Thursday, July 18, the general public can bring a bag to fill with books for $5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Customers of all shopping windows are reminded to bring a bag to carry their books.

All major credit cards, cash, and checks with valid photo IDs will be accepted. Visit the library’s website or call the library at 717-838-1347 for more information on its upcoming used book sale.

The Palmyra Public Library was established in 1954 and moved to its current location at 50 Landings Drive in Annville in 2014. It offers information and services to residents in Palmyra Borough, North and South Londonderry Township, and neighboring areas.
