Arrest warrant – On Sept. 4, police issued an arrest warrant against Anthony Ramos, 25, with the original charge being DUI-alcohol.
Drug possession – On Sept. 3, police charged Monica Gray, 54, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 200 block of South 8th Street.
DUI – On Sept. 3, police charged Miguel Tapia Balcacer, 33, with DUI-alcohol after an incident on the 400 block of North 9th Street.
DUI – On July 14, police charged Nathan Folmer, 23, with DUI-alcohol after police responded to a well-being check on the 1200 block of Maple Street.
Theft by unlawful taking or disposition – On Aug. 22, police charged Melvin Morales, 43, with theft by unlawful taking or disposition after an incident on the 600 block of North Lincoln Avenue.
Drug possession – On Aug. 29, police charged Quinn Campbell, 24, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 00 block of South Partridge Street.
Drug possession – On Aug. 29, police charged Kedrin Sanchez-Figueroa, 20, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident in the area of C&L and Gannon streets.
Drug possession – On Aug. 30, police charged Richard Schofield, 45, with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident in the area of 8th Avenue and the railroad tracks.
Aggravated assault – On Aug. 29, police charged Nancy Roman, 54, with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a disturbance on the 500 block of South 9th Street.
Drug possession – On Sept. 2, police charged Michelle Spidel, 35, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 300 block of Schneider Drive.
Arrest warrant – On Sept. 6, police issued an arrest warrant against Janivette Rivera Arroyo, 27, with the original charge being terroristic threats.
Arrest warrant – On Sept. 5, police issued an arrest warrant against Natasha Figueroa, 27, with the original charge being possession of drug paraphernalia.
East Hanover Township
Vehicle accident – At 12:19 p.m. Aug. 29, a 2017 Ford driven by a 43-year-old Lebanon man was traveling south and a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia driven by a 25-year-old Aurora, Illinois, man was traveling north on SR 934. The vehicles approached the intersection from opposite directions and the Ford drifted into the north lane and struck the driver’s side of the tractor-trailer. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. The Lebanon man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected through the passenger’s side window, sustaining a suspected serious injury. He was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. The Aurora man was wearing a seatbelt, sustained an injury of unknown severity, and was transported via Central Medical Ambulance to Hershey Medical Center. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Heidelberg Township
Vehicle accident – At 11:35 a.m. Aug. 21, a 2016 Honda Accord driven by an 84-year-old Cornwall man accompanied by an 80-year-old Cornwall woman was at a stop sign on Iona Road. The Honda entered the intersection in front of a 2013 Ford Transit driven by a 64-year-old Denver man. The Ford struck the driver’s side bumper of the Honda. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The Cornwall residents were wearing seatbelts, sustained suspected minor injuries, and were transported via Schaefferstown EMS to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. The Denver man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
Jackson Township
Vehicle accident – At 6:12 a.m. Aug. 27, a 2014 Ram 5500 farm vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Myerstown boy was traveling west on Elco Drive. A 2007 Honda Pilot driven by a 78-year-old Newmanstown man was traveling east on Elco Drive. The farm vehicle was in its lane and drifted onto the double yellow lines. The Honda was in its lane and moved over to the right shoulder. The farm vehicle subsequently sideswiped the driver’s side of the Honda. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries.
Jonestown Borough
DUI – At 1:52 a.m. Sept. 1, police pulled over a vehicle on the 00 block of East Market Street for a moving violation. Upon initial contact with the driver, Christina Yuninger, 37, of Jonestown, police observed odors of burnt marijuana emitting from the interior of the vehicle. Yuninger submitted to SFSTs, showed signs of impairment, and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI-marijuana.
North Londonderry Township
DUI – At 8:16 p.m. Aug. 9, police responded to the area of Main Street and Apple Blossom Lane for a report of a potential DUI. Police found Jose Reyes-Portillo, 67, of Grantville, was behind the wheel of his 2017 Toyota Rav4 when he drove into the oncoming lane and struck a curb. Police arrested Reyes-Portillo for DUI, with his BAC being 0.13% at the time of the incident. DUI charges were filed against Reyes-Portillo through MDJ Warner’s office.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident – At 7:30 a.m. Sept. 4, a Nissan SUV driven by a 34-year-old Palmyra woman rear-ended a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 35-year-old Annville man on the 2800 block of Horseshoe Pike. No injuries were reported. The Palmyra woman’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Swatara Township
Vehicle accident – Around 6:24 a.m. Aug. 28, police were dispatched to SR 22 East, just east of Wenger Lane. Police said a 2013 Kia Sorento driven by a 28-year-old Reading man was traveling east in the left land of SR 22 at a rate of about 70 mph when the driver attempted to avoid hitting an animal and crashed into the guide rail end, causing disabling damage. The Kia was towed from the scene. The driver was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a suspected minor injury, reporting minor leg pain, and was cleared on the scene by EMS. Bunker Hill Fire Company assisted on the scene. Police charged the driver with a driving vehicle at safe speed violation.
Vehicle accident – At 12:49 p.m. Aug. 26, a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 91-year-old Jonestown woman was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Old Route 22. A 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by a 72-year-old Jonestown man was traveling south on Old Route 22 when the Chevrolet pulled into the intersection and struck the Toyota. The Jonestown woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained a suspected minor injury but refused transport. The Jonestown man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
Vehicle accident – At 5:50 p.m. Aug. 28, a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 17-year-old Jonestown boy accompanied by a 17-year-old Fredericksburg girl was traveling south on Grace Avenue. The boy was distracted by a dog inside his vehicle and looked away from the road. The VW drifted to the right and struck a guide rail, sustaining disabling damage. The boy was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. The girl was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged the boy with a driving on roadways laned for traffic violation.
Union Township
Vehicle accident – At 2:12 p.m. Aug. 30, a crash occurred on Fisher Avenue at Old Forge Road involving a 2024 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 40-year-old Drums man and a 2022 Dodge Charger driven by a 39-year-old Jonestown man. The Drums man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. The Jonestown man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained a possible injury but was not transported.
Vehicle accident – Around 5:49 p.m. Sept. 4, a 2007 Toyota Corolla driven by a 23-year-old Lebanon resident was traveling north on SR 72 and went to turn left onto Awol Road. The Toyota turned short and struck the wooden fence on a property on the 2500 block of SR 72, then proceeded through the grass, hit a dip, crossed both lanes of Awol Road, and finally overturned down the embankment. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Police charged the driver with a driving on roadways laned for traffic violation.
Western Lebanon County Regional Police
Terroristic threats, simple assault – On Sept. 1, the Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department responded to the 00 block of West Main Street for an ongoing domestic violence call. Police learned that Shawn Remlinger, 40, had slapped, punched, and choked the other person throughout the morning and also threatened to kill the other person. Police charged Remlinger with terroristic threats, simple assault, and summary harassment, took Remlinger into custody on the 200 block of South Lancaster Street and transported him to LCCB to await arraignment.
Harassment – Around 8:42 a.m. Aug. 23, police were dispatched to the 900 block of East Main Street for a report of harassment. Police determined that a 63-year-old Lebanon man had repeatedly left unwanted voicemail messages with the business and its owner. The man had been served with a No Contact letter in 2023. On Aug. 26, a non-traffic citation was filed with MDJ Ditzler’s office, charging him with summary harassment.
Found dog – Around 1:45 p.m. Sept. 7, police responded to the 100 block of West Main Street for a found dog. The dog was transported to the Lebanon County Humane Society. Anyone with information regarding the owner of this dog is asked to contact police at 717-838-8189 or through CRIMEWATCH using the “Submit a Tip” tab.
