LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week is sometimes available for adoption through a local shelter. Other times the weekly column will spotlight a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home.

This week, meet Brandy!

Brandy was the boon companion of Gary Brouse, who regrets to say he lost her earlier this year.

She was a mixed breed, a combination of Labrador and boxer, Gary says, and he had her since she was 7 weeks old. Sadly, he says, she died just shy of 15 years.

“We got her from a family in Myerstown,” Gary says. “She was my buddy. Always with me. Never had to leash her when we were out on hikes. Loved everyone. … I miss her so much!”

Our sympathies to Gary, and posthumous congratulations to Brandy for being this week’s LebTown Pet of the Week!
