Stuff’D Steaks & Hoagies will celebrate its fourth anniversary on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

Brian Boltz, who owns the restaurant with his wife Maria, said Oct. 22 is the day the couple launched their Stuff’D Steaks food truck.

Stuff’D Steaks has evolved in the past four years. After finding success with the food truck, the couple opened a restaurant in January 2022 at 2824 Horseshoe Pike, Campbelltown, and then relocated to 108 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey, earlier this year. “The only thing that’s changed is the address — we still have the great food and customer service we’ve become known for,” Boltz said.

“We are so happy to welcome Stuff’D Steaks as a business that chose to relocate to Hershey’s downtown corridor. Our thriving downtown has many unique opportunities like boutiques, stores, services, dining, and attractions,” said Ann Messner, president of Hershey Partnership, Hershey PA Chamber of Commerce.

After purchasing the former Phillip Arthur’s Café in Hershey in May, the Boltz family did some renovations to the space before opening on July 5. Boltz said the interior got a fresh coat of paint, chairs were reupholstered, some of the kitchen equipment was replaced, and a brick pizza oven was removed. “We had thought about leaving the brick oven, but we don’t do pizzas, and we needed the space,” he said.

He said the new restaurant is all open inside and includes a case with a variety of Hershey’s ice cream flavors. Seating options include a counter with counter-height chairs as well as tables and chairs. The colors are bright, and a soaring ceiling with modern-style ceiling fans adds to the spacious, open feel. While there’s seating for guests to dine in, Stuff’D Steaks continues to offer take-out and catering.

“Being in downtown Hershey is great. We’re about a mile from Hersheypark, two blocks from Hershey Theater, and close to the Hershey Story Museum, and there are offices nearby, so there’s a lot of foot traffic. That’s something we really didn’t have in Campbelltown,” Boltz said.

He said a number of the customers who regularly patronized the restaurant in Campbelltown have continued to patronize it at the new location. Plus, the restaurant has seen an uptick in local orders after the summer, when it was a stop for a number of visitors to the area.

Stuff’D Steaks menu continues to focus on made-to-order cheesesteaks served on a fresh Philly roll. There’s also a variety of burger and fry offerings as well as hoagies and salads. Brunch is available on Sundays. Hershey’s ice cream, milkshakes, and floats have joined the menu and are a nod to Phillip Arthur’s, whose menu included ice cream.

Stuff’D Steaks continues to host special events and its tradition of community support. Boltz said there’s an event honoring first responders on Monday, Oct. 28, which is National First Responders Day. On Oct. 28, first responders may bring a guest and eat in at Stuff’D Steaks at no charge.

Regarding community support, Boltz said Stuff’D Steaks sponsors a Little League Baseball team in Palmyra and a Palmyra junior football team.

Boltz said he wanted the restaurant’s hours to be a bit different than the norm. Stuff’D Steaks is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:58 a.m. to 6:58 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10:58 a.m. to 7:58 p.m.; and Sunday, 9:02 a.m. to 3:58 p.m. Sunday brunch is available from 9:02 a.m. to 12:14 p.m., while Sunday lunch is available throughout business hours.
