LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week is sometimes available for adoption through a local shelter. Other times the weekly column will spotlight a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home.
This week, meet Luna!
LebTown reader Kristin Grove says Luna is technically her “grandpup,” since she belongs to her daughter, “but Luna loves all her humans here at home!”
Luna celebrated her third birthday back on April 1, Kristin says. “She’s an April Fool’s baby which explains why she’s such a goofball!”
The family brought her home when she was 3 months old. She’s a Frengle, Kristin says, “which is a French bulldog/beagle mix, but she’s mostly all beagle with a few extra rolls.”
Luna “has lots of energy and loves to play,” Kristin adds. “She loves to play catch! You toss anything in the air for her and she will always catch it in her mouth … whether it’s a ball or a cheese curl she never misses!”
She also “loves to give lots of kisses and to cuddle and snuggle and be under the covers,” she says. “She’s a great watch dog too and always keeps us protected when she sees a scary squirrel or chipmunk … she starts barking and her fur on her back stands up and she gets a Mohawk!”
Congratulations to Luna for being this week’s LebTown Pet of the Week!
