Bethel Township
Theft of motor vehicle – On Oct. 24, police responded to Countryside Auto Sales, 2620 SR 22, for a report of a stolen vehicle. Between 6 and 8 p.m. on Oct. 24, someone stole a silver Nissan 350Z convertible from the lot. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.
City of Lebanon
Simple assault – On Oct. 26, police charged Mario Solis-Valdez, 29, with simple assault and simple assault by physical menace after an incident on the 1200 block of Lehman Street.
Evading arrest or detention on foot – On Oct. 28, police charged Jedia Garcia Echevarria, 19, with evading arrest or detention on foot after he fled from police attempting to serve a warrant on the 200 block of North 8th Street.
Drug possession – On Oct. 30, police charged Brian Graby, 48, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 400 block of North 10th Street.
Driving while suspended – On Oct. 29, police charged Elizabeth Davis, 61, with driving while suspended (DUI-related) after an incident in the area of 4th Avenue and East Weidman Street.
DUI, careless driving, accident involving damage to unattended vehicle – On Oct. 31, police charged Michael Wildoner, 48, with DUI-alcohol, careless driving, and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle after a crash on the 200 block of South 3rd Street.
DUI, drug possession – On Oct. 31, police charged Tyler Greenawalt, 31, with DUI-alcohol and possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop in the area of North Hanover and Crowell streets.
Fleeing or attempting to elude officer – On Oct. 30, police charged Miguel Padilla Cruz, 21, with fleeing or attempting to elude officer, evading arrest or detention on foot, and reckless driving after police attempted a traffic stop in the area of 12th and Willow streets.
Drug possession – On Oct. 30, police charged Brooke Behney, 31, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 400 block of North 10th Street.
Grocery store retail theft – Lebanon city police are investigating a retail theft at a local grocery store. The three individuals pictured below are persons of interest in this investigation. The police department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them. Anyone with information is asked to contact Patrolman Battle or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.
Theft from porch – Lebanon city police are investigating a theft of a potted plant from a porch of a residence on the 400 block of South 12th Street. Police are attempting to locate the individual pictured below. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Haldeman or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.
Bike theft – Lebanon city police are attempting to identify an unknown man who stole a BMX-style bike from the Lebanon Intermediate School. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.
No Shave November – Lebanon city police officers are tossing their razors and will be participating in No Shave November for the second year. During the month of November, city officers will be permitted to grow facial hair as a symbol of solidarity with those affected by cancer. This initiative aims to promote a conversation about cancer and the importance of early detection while also supporting those who have been impacted by the disease. All of the city police department’s No Shave November donations will be donated to WellSpan Sechler Family Cancer Center.
North Lebanon Township
Tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest – On Oct. 8, police charged Ivan Swift Jr., of Lebanon, with tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct. Swift was warned for yelling outside his home, then police were called back to the scene and arrested Swift, who refused verbal commands and threw drug paraphernalia under furniture.
Possession of weapon, resisting arrest – On Oct. 13, police charged Matthew Martinez-Cuevas, of Lebanon, with possession of weapon, simple assault, and resisting arrest for an incident on the 500 block of Weavertown Terrace.
PFA order violation – On Oct. 22, police charged Salvador Vega-Cortes with a PFA order violation on the 1600 block of East Cumberland Street.
North Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident, duties at stop signs – At 4:55 p.m. Oct. 23, police charged a 19-year-old Palmyra woman with duties at stop signs as a result of a crash on Elm Street and South Forge Road, which also involved a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Palmyra man.
Public drunkenness – At 12:12 p.m. Oct. 23, police charged a 28-year-old Palmyra man with public drunkenness after police responded to the area of Cambridge and Wexford roads to check on the well-being of a man on the ground. Police found the man to be highly intoxicated in public.
Disorderly conduct – At 1:13 p.m. Oct. 26, police responded to the parking lot of Walmart, 100 N. Londonderry Sq., Palmyra, for suspicious activity called in by a patron. Police observed a 68-year-old Hershey woman and a 64-year-old Hershey man urinating in the parking lot and charged both of them with disorderly conduct. Citations were filed through MDJ Warner’s office.
Vehicle accident – At 6:32 p.m. Oct. 25, an electric bike operated by a 59-year-old Palmyra man and an electric bike operated by a 35-year-old Annville man collided on the 1300 block of East Main Street. The Palmyra man was transported to Hershey Medical Center with injuries. The Annville man refused transport.
Drug possession – At 9:55 p.m. Sept. 20, police charged Landon Jumper, 19, of Hummelstown, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an investigation that was conducted when police stopped his vehicle on West Ridge Road for an equipment violation.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident – At 8:46 a.m. Oct. 25, a crash occurred at routes 117 and 322 when a pickup truck driven by a Palmyra male juvenile rear-ended a sedan driven by a 42-year-old Mount Gretna man. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Western Lebanon County Regional Police
Retail theft – Around 2 p.m. Oct. 4, police responded to Sheetz, 811 E. Main St., Palmyra, for a retail theft. After an investigation, police determined that a 39-year-old man stole merchandise valued at $4.78. On Oct. 18, a non-traffic citation was filed with MDJ Warner’s office, charging the man with summary retail theft.
Criminal mischief – Around 9:20 a.m. Oct. 4, police responded to the 400 block of West Cedar Street for a crash. Police determined that the incident started at the intersection of West Main and North Railroad streets as road rage. Police said a 23-year-old man intentionally damaged another motorist’s side-view mirror. On Oct. 18, a non-traffic citation was filed with MDJ Warner’s office, charging the man with summary criminal mischief.
Financial exploitation of an older adult or care-dependent person – On Oct. 24, police filed charges of felony financial exploitation of an older adult or care-dependent person and felony receiving stolen property against Kellie Pushkar, 56, through MDJ Ditzler’s office. The charges are the result of an investigation into an incident reported to the Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department on July 22 on the 500 block of East Main Street.
