LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Dodger!
Dodger, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel, is the rescue organization’s “very own World Series champ.”
A 1 1/2-year-old male, Dodger is “sweet, affectionate, full of life,” and a “snuggling MVP,” Mika says. Although he can be a bit timid in new situations, he warms up quickly and he enjoys outdoor adventures and going for walks.
He’s crate-trained and housebroken, she notes, and he’s friendly with other dogs and could live happily in a home with canine companions or be content as someone’s one and only pup. However, Mika says, “kitty-free homes only, please.”
PLP is “looking for an active family committed to ongoing training and socialization to keep him on track to being his very best.” If you think Dodger could be a fit for your household, please click over to pittieslovepeace.com to submit your online application.
