LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week is sometimes available for adoption through a local shelter. Other times the weekly column will spotlight a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home.

This week, meet Zoe.

Zoe

Zoe, according to owner Susan Mahan of Fredericksburg, is a 6-month-old beagle mix.

“Zoe’s name, in Greek, means ‘life,’ and she is full of life, full of love and fun,” Susan says. “She is half beagle and half bichon frise poodle. I call her my ‘Beaglette’ due to the French connection in her heritage.”

Susan says Zoe “loves to jump up and sit on my lap,” and she “enjoys tug of war with her duck toys, and getting pets from neighbors. She especially is fond of children and begs to go outside when she hears them coming home from the bus stop.”

The only thing Zoe dislikes, Susan adds, “is riding in the car!”

Congratulations to Zoe for being this week’s LebTown Pet of the Week!
