Bethel Township

Overdose – On April 10, PSP Jonestown, Fire, and EMS responded to the 100 block of North Pine Grove Street for an unresponsive male. After eight administrations of Narcan, the 26-year-old man regained consciousness and refused further treatment.

Hit-and-run crash – At 4:58 a.m. March 24, an unknown vehicle was turning left onto South Pine Grove Street. A 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 47-year-old Lebanon woman accompanied by a 42-year-old Lebanon man was traveling north on South Pine Grove Street. The unknown driver failed to ensure the road was clear and was struck by the Hyundai, then fled the scene. No identifying information was recovered. The Hyundai was driven from the scene. The driver and passenger of the Hyundai were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries.

City of Lebanon

Drug possession – On April 1, police charged Lacey Mann, 23, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Cumberland Street.

Simple assault – On April 4, police charged Mark Fidler, 39, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) after police responded to the 00 block of North 12th Street for a report of a domestic.

DUI – On March 30, police charged Darian Francavage, 28, with DUI-alcohol and driving an unregistered vehicle after a traffic stop in the area of South 6th and Walnut streets.

DUI, careless driving – On April 8, police charged Tara Clark, 38, with DUI-alcohol and careless driving after police responded to a crash on the 1300 block of Lehman Street.

Pedestrian struck – Around 8:34 a.m. April 10, police responded to the 200 block of South 10th Street for a report of a child struck by a vehicle. Police determined the child ran into the side of a passing vehicle and sustained minor injuries, and said the driver was not at fault.

Arrest warrant – On April 7, police issued an arrest warrant against John Stone, 34, with the original charge being fleeing or attempting to elude officer.

Retail theft – At 12:05 p.m. April 10, police responded to the 900 block of Cumberland Street for a report of a retail theft. The suspect fled the store on a bicycle in an unknown direction prior to police arrival. Anyone who can identify the suspect pictured below should contact Sgt. Gebhard or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.

Jackson Township

Vehicle accident – Around 5:50 p.m. Feb. 19, a 2005 GMC Savana driven by a 35-year-old Bethel man proceeded through a stop sign on East Rosebud Road, exited the road, and came to rest against a wooden fence after striking a large tree. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. The GMC was towed from the scene by Zimmey’s Automotive. Police charged the driver with a stop and yield sign violation.

Lebanon County Regional

PFA order violation – At 7:23 a.m. April 5, police responded to the 2100 block of Church Street in West Lebanon Township for a PFA order violation at 11:28 p.m. April 4. The investigation revealed that Juan Alverio-Martinez, 47, violated a PFA order. Officers prepared charges of a PFA order violation and took Alverio-Martinez into custody at a residence in Lebanon city at 11:20 a.m. April 5.

Myerstown Borough

Hit-and-run crash – At 1:39 p.m. April 6, a 2020 Ford Explorer was parked facing north on North Goodwill Street when it was sideswiped by an unknown northbound vehicle on its driver’s side rear quarter panel and sustained functional damage.

North Londonderry Township

Retail theft – Police arrested Krista Moelter, 39, of Annville, for misdemeanor retail theft in connection with an incident at 4:19 p.m. April 4 in which Moelter left Walmart without paying for $332.92 of store merchandise, which mostly consisted of consumable goods and other household items.

Retail theft – Police cited a 46-year-old Lebanon woman with summary retail theft in connection with an incident at 4:19 p.m. April 4 in which the woman left Walmart without paying for $93.48 of store merchandise, which mostly consisted of children’s toys.

Retail theft – Police arrested Miranda Shutter, 18, of Myerstown, for misdemeanor retail theft in connection with an incident at 8:22 p.m. April 4 in which Shutter left Walmart without paying for $192.04 of store merchandise, which mostly consisted of consumable goods and other household items.

South Lebanon Township

Drug possession – Around 6:30 p.m. March 17, police pulled over a vehicle on South Lincoln Avenue and learned that the driver, Trinity Avila, 18, was in possession of a controlled substance. Police charged Avila with misdemeanor possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Drug possession – Around 10:25 p.m. March 19, police pulled over a vehicle on State Drive and learned that the driver, Michael Wdzieczny, 22, was in possession of a controlled substance. Police charged Wdzieczny with misdemeanor possession of marijuana for personal use.

Unsworn falsification to authorities – On Dec. 11, 2024, Jonathan Morgan, 55, attempted to purchase a firearm at Dunham’s Sports in Lebanon when he was not legally permitted to do so. Police charged Morgan with misdemeanor unsworn falsification to authorities.

Illegally operating a vehicle without ignition interlock – Around 10:19 p.m. April 5, police pulled over a vehicle on South Lincoln Avenue and learned that the vehicle was not equipped with an ignition interlock system and the driver, Canyon Koch, 27, was only permitted to operate vehicles equipped with the system. Police charged Koch with misdemeanor illegally operating a vehicle without ignition interlock.

Criminal trespass, harassment – Around 11:21 p.m. April 5, police responded to Wheatstone Lane for a trespassing complaint and learned that two women had entered the residence without permission and assaulted a female resident. Police identified the subjects as Tracie Zoumas, 32, and Carmela Zoumas, 62, and charged them with felony criminal trespass and summary harassment.

Warrants – The following people have outstanding warrants from South Lebanon Township police: Christian Cruz, Karelys Cruz-Velazquez, Phara Eveillard, Elizabeth Ewbank, Salomon Francoeur, Alicia Hedges, Jason Lutz, Christopher Martinez, Nijha Muhammad, Eulance Polk Jr., Nathan Reinbold, Matthew Rittle, Patricia Rudy, Miguel Tehuitzil, and Misael Vazquez. Numerous attempts have been made to get in contact with these individuals.

Do not approach or confront these individuals. If you know their whereabouts, call South Lebanon Township police or leave a tip on the department’s page on CRIMEWATCH. All tips will remain anonymous. Anyone who would like their name removed from the warrant list is encouraged to make arrangements or turn themselves in.

Postponed scheduled lane closure – Metro Drive near South 5th Avenue was scheduled to experience daytime single-lane closures the week of April 14 as Met-Ed performed necessary work. However, this project is being postponed until further notice. Metro Drive will be open to both lanes of travel the week of April 14.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident – Around 5:32 p.m. April 7, police responded to Horseshoe Pike in the area of Lynmar Avenue for a crash involving a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Palmyra woman, who rear-ended a vehicle driven by a 42-year-old Lebanon woman. No injuries were reported. Police charged the 20-year-old with following too closely.

DUI crash – At 8:17 p.m. March 21, a crash occurred on the 2300 block of South Forge Road. A vehicle driven by Brian Lighty, 37, of Palmyra, was traveling north on South Forge Road when it passed a vehicle in a no passing zone in the area of an intersection and the crest of a hill. Lighty was seen driving erratically by witnesses. A vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Palmyra woman was traveling south on South Forge Road coming up the hill near West Patrick Road when it was struck by Lighty’s vehicle, which was traveling in her lane. Both drivers were transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of injuries. A dog was in the backseat of the woman’s vehicle but sustained no injuries. Lighty’s BAC was 0.256% at the time of the crash. Police charged Lighty with DUI-highest rate (second offense), DUI-incapable of safe driving (third offense), reckless driving, driving with an expired license, and driving without a current inspection.

West Cornwall Township

Vehicle accident – At 9:08 a.m. April 11, a crash occurred on State Route 117 between Old Mine Road and the State Route 72 South ramp. A 20-year-old Harrisburg man was traveling on SR 117 when the vehicle veered to the right, exited the roadway, and traveled over an embankment, then hit a road sign, flipped, rolled, and landed on its roof. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The driver was transported via EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

Western Lebanon County Regional

DUI, periods for requiring lighted lamps – At 1:24 a.m. March 2, police pulled over a vehicle on the 800 block of East Main Street in Palmyra after it was observed driving erratically with no taillights illuminated. Police found the driver of the vehicle, Trevor Gill, 27, to be under the influence of alcohol. Police charged Gill with two counts of misdemeanor DUI and one count of summary periods for requiring lighted lamps.

DUI, drug possession, traffic violations – Charges were filed against Kevin Luce Jr., 35, for misdemeanor DUI-drug-impaired ability, three counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and three summary traffic violations. Charges stem from an incident on the 00 block of West Spruce Street in Palmyra on March 22. Luce was found to be under the influence and in possession of methamphetamine, morphine, psilocybin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and other substances that are pending test results.

Criminal trespass – On March 18, police responded to the Stone Hill Village Property for a trespass complaint after a 36-year-old man trespassed on the posted property. A non-traffic citation was filed against the man with MDJ Ditzler’s office for summary criminal trespass.

Bench warrants served, traffic citations – On April 9, police pulled over a vehicle on the 1100 block of East Main Street in Annville for traffic violations. Police identified the driver as Brandy Kain, 32, who had two bench warrants out of Lancaster County for felony intimidate witness/victim-withhold testimony and misdemeanor unlawful dissemination of intimate image. Police issued summary traffic citations against Kain for driving with a suspended registration and driving without required financial responsibility. Police arrested Kain without incident and transported her to LCCB on the warrants.

Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department is hiring – The Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department is accepting applications from interested and qualified candidates for the position of police officer. Act 120 is preferred, but the police department does accept and participate in the academy process of pre-service applicants. The police department may consider pay enhancements for police officers who are certified or have prior experience.

Minimum requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess a valid Pennsylvania license or the ability to obtain one by date of hire.
  • Possess the ability to perform all duties of a police officer.

The police department is progressive and focused on using 21st-century policing concepts and the latest training, technologies, and equipment.

The police department was formed in May 2024 and serves Annville Township and Palmyra Borough. The department also provides contracted services to South Annville Township. The agency has a sworn staff of 16 officers and serves approximately 12,589 citizens in a coverage area of 3.7 square miles.
