Earlier this month, Wilmington, Ohio-based R+L Carriers purchased two North Lebanon Township tracts totaling 89.79 acres in a $12.6 million transaction between KR&S Realty LTD and the freight-shipping company’s real estate affiliate, Ramar Land Corp.

The industrial-zoned land at 2225 E. Cumberland St., previously owned by an Inch & Co. affiliate, had been targeted for a 1,000,000-square-foot warehouse with 456 parking spots for trailer storage and 340 parking spots for employees. The plan went stagnant with the township before being officially withdrawn in November.

R+L Carriers did not respond to LebTown requests for comment last week about its plan for the property.

The company already operates a facility on a 12.7-acre adjoining property, 200 Narrows Drive, which it has owned through an affiliate since 1998.

The two new parcels add frontage on East Cumberland Street and Weavertown Road.
