Seltzer’s Smokehouse Meats will host its second annual Harvey Seltzer Day, a community event to celebrate the butcher who created the store more than a century ago, on Saturday, May 24.
“Last year was an amazing success thanks to your readership,” Seltzer’s brand manager Mike Rupert said in an email to LebTown, “and we’re looking to make it even bigger this year.”
The free, family-friendly event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 209 N. Railroad St., Palmyra. Organizers promise “a lively community celebration honoring the birthday of the company’s founder and the legacy of Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna.”
