With the forecast calling for a Nor’Easter to hit the region, Aim For Impact, the new fundraiser for the Lebanon Corps of the Salvation Army, will now be held on Friday, June 27.

The shoot, open to teams and individual gun enthusiasts, is slated for the Palmyra Sportsman Association in Annville, PA. Last-minute sponsorships for businesses and corporations are also available.

According to Event Chairman Richard Nesbitt, the event has 11 teams registered, so the deadline for registration has been extended to June 20 for additional teams or individual gun enthusiasts.

“We are excited about the response, as we had a goal of 10 teams, and we did exceed our expectations. There is still room for teams and other individuals who wish to compete. Competitors will receive trophies for best team as well as best individual female and male awards,” said Nesbitt.

The schedule for the day remains the same. The day begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration. Warm-up clays will be available for $1.00 each, cash only, before the competition begins at 10:00 a.m.

The cost is $300 per team of four and $75 for individual shooters. Registration includes Ammo, Clay Bird, and lunch, supplied by Mission BBQ. Sponsorships are $200 for a trail sponsorship.

“Don’t miss out on this chance to have fun and make a difference in our community,” added Lt. Richard Mahida of the local Corps. “You can help us DO THE MOST GOOD in our local community, through our food pantry, noon meal program and children summer camps.
To sponsor, send your check made to Salvation Army Lebanon Corp, 1031 Guilford Street, Lebanon, PA 17046.
