24-year-old Christian Tyler Harding of Annville was indicted May 28 by a federal grand jury for child pornography offenses.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced the charges on Wednesday, June 4.
According to Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus, Harding is alleged to have attempted to produce child pornography, and prosecutors say he coerced and enticed a minor to engage in sexual activity. The indictment also alleges that between January and February of this year, Harding received and possessed child pornography.
The Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department assisted in the investigation, along with the Bowling Green Police Department in Ohio and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney K. Wesley Mishoe.
According to court records, Harding faces six counts, including two counts of production of child pornography and one count each of attempted production of child pornography, coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, receipt of child pornography, and possession of child pornography.
Harding has entered a plea of not guilty and is being detained pending trial.
