United Way of Lebanon County has awarded over $230,000 in Community Impact Grants to 21 nonprofit organizations that are working to improve the quality of life for residents across Lebanon County. These funds support programs aligned with United Way’s core focus areas: education, health, and financial stability—the foundational pillars of a strong and resilient community.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of local individuals and businesses through United Way’s Annual Giving Campaign, these grants are a true reflection of neighbors supporting neighbors. “What’s raised here, stays here,” said Executive Director Erin Velazquez. “These grants are more than financial support; they are a promise to our community that we are here, we care, and we’re committed to building a better future for all.”

Over a six-month period, United Way board members and community volunteers thoroughly reviewed each grant application to ensure funding was directed to programs with strong potential for measurable impact. This rigorous process ensures donor dollars are making the greatest difference possible, right here in Lebanon County.

With 2 in 5 local households struggling to meet basic needs, this investment supports vital services—from helping children thrive in school, to improving access to healthcare, to providing emergency assistance for families in crisis.

This year’s Community Impact Grant recipients include: Lebanon Cedar Closet, Girls on the Run, The Salvation Army Lebanon Corps, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Pa, CASA, Domestic Violence Intervention (DVI), PROBE, Sexual Assault Resource & Counseling Center (SARCC), St. James Players, Lancaster-Lebanon Literacy Council, QUEST, The Caring Cupboard, PA Dutch Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Power Packs Project, Developmental & Disability Services (DDS) of Lebanon Valley, Union Community Care, Lancaster/Lebanon Habitat for Humanity, Salem Lutheran Church, Palmyra Public Library, NICK Services, and the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA.
