Goodwill Keystone announced plans Thursday to move its Lebanon store and donation center from its current location next to Weis at 798 S. 12th St. to the former JoAnn Fabrics at 1860 Quentin Road.
Donations will be accepted at the new location starting Nov. 3, with the new store grand opening to take place later that month.
As part of the move, Goodwill Keystone will add five new jobs to the existing 20 headcount at the Lebanon store. The new store location will include a dedicated furniture area and improved drive-up and drop-off donation options.
“When you donate your clothes, housewares, and other gently used items at your local Goodwill Keystone store, you’re supporting your neighbors in Lebanon with programs and opportunities to help them thrive,” said Colleen McAuliffe, Goodwill Keystone’s chief financial officer.
Electronics in any condition are also accepted at the Lebanon location as well as all stores and donation centers in Goodwill Keystone’s 22-county footprint.
The last day to shop and donate at the existing location is Nov. 2. Follow Goodwill Keystone on Facebook for further updates about a grand opening date.
Weis did not respond to request for comment about its plans for the space, but it is listed for lease by Metro Commercial. The price is stated as “negotiable.”
