Welcome to the first season of the Valley Chicken Pot Pie Wars.
Three entrants from the Valley – The Filling Station, Country Fare, and The Quentin Haus – will compete to be declared the winner of Best Chicken Pot Pie in the Valley.
Our judgement was based upon several factors including ingredients, noodle quality, flavor, quality, presentation, and overall critic impression.
We begin this “War” over in Palmyra at favorite breakfast spot of the critic crew. The Filling Station offers a Monday dinner special of all-you-can-eat chicken pot pie for $13.50.

Our bowl came out loaded to the brim with large, broad homemade noodles that were thick. Some noodles were very large. The rich broth is well seasoned with tender chicken pieces. This hearty bowl comes with celery mixed in with the white potato rounds. I always put a nice layer of pepper on top for maximum enjoyment.
Did we just have the best Chicken Pot Pie in the Valley?
Next we will travel to our other entrants: Country Fare and The Quentin Haus. After which, we will make our decision.
