Bethel Township
Drug possession – At 10:39 a.m. Nov. 4, the Northern Lebanon School District school resource officer found a 16-year-old Jonestown male in possession of a THC vaping device while on school property. The SRO contacted PSP. The vaping device was seized. A juvenile allegation was prepared.
Vehicle accident – At 10:29 p.m. Dec. 3, a 2024 Ford Explorer driven by a 51-year-old Denver man was northbound on South Pine Grove Street near Elk Drive when it struck a deer carcass on the road. The Ford sustained minor damage. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
Scattering rubbish – On Dec. 8, it was reported to PSP-Jonestown that trash was deposited in the area of Union Road at the Deep Run Creek within the past month or two. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PSP-Jonestown at 717-865-2194.
City of Lebanon
DUI – At 12:15 a.m. Nov. 26, police pulled over a vehicle on the 00 block of North 9th Street for speeding. Police identified the driver as Richard Howell, 47, and found him to be impaired by alcohol and operating the vehicle with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction. Police arrested Howell and charged him with DUI-alcohol.
Tampering with records or identification, impersonating a public servant – On Dec. 7, police filed charges against John Light, 66, for an incident on Nov. 26 on the 1100 block of Brandywine Street, in which Light allegedly posted an official-looking document typically reserved for posting by a public servant.
Motor vehicle theft, DUI – At 9:35 a.m. Dec. 7, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on the 300 block of East Cumberland Street. Police located the vehicle, which was being operated by Randy Wealand, 59, who was charged with motor vehicle theft, DUI, and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
Retail theft – Police charged Kayla Bauer, 34, following an investigation that uncovered evidence of the theft of grocery items from a local store on multiple occasions.
Cops and Candy Canes at Northwest Elementary School – A huge thank you to Principal Nordall and the amazing staff at Northwest Elementary School for welcoming the Lebanon City Police Department. Officer Secoges enjoyed sharing a story with students and spreading a bit of holiday cheer, complete with candy canes for everyone!
Toys for Tots drive complete – The Lebanon City Police Department took part in the No Shave November into December campaign, allowing officers to put their razors away for the month. This initiative supports the Lebanon County Marine Corps League’s Toys for Tots program, as officers donated toys to this deserving cause.
The police department is truly grateful to its community for the incredible generosity shown throughout this campaign. A special thank you goes to the WellSpan Sechler Family Cancer Center for partnering with the police department and collecting toys alongside its efforts!

Jackson Township
Theft – Police are investigating an incident that occurred between Dec. 4 and 5 in which someone entered a construction site on the 500 block of East Rosebud Road overnight, broke into an equipment trailer and stole multiple items.
Vehicle accident – At 5:20 p.m. Dec. 4, a 2025 Toyota 4-Runner driven by a 29-year-old Myerstown woman was stopped at a traffic signal on West Lincoln Avenue, west of Ramona Road. A 2003 Toyota Corolla driven by a 27-year-old Lebanon man hit the 4-Runner. The Corolla sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The 4-Runner sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, sustained no injuries, and did not require any medical attention. Police charged the man with drivers required to be licensed.
Lebanon County Regional
Retail theft – On Oct. 16, police responded to Lowe’s Home Improvement in North Cornwall Township for a retail theft that occurred on July 5. The value of the stolen merchandise was $459. Police identified the suspect as Don Ernst Jr., 39, and charged him with misdemeanor retail theft.
Retail theft – At 6:42 a.m. Nov. 14, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township for a retail theft. An investigation revealed that April Lawrence, 53, stole merchandise from the store. Police charged Lawrence with misdemeanor retail theft.
Theft by unlawful taking or disposition – At 8:04 a.m. Nov. 25, police responded to Heisey’s Diner in North Lebanon Township where a 16-year-old female employee took $200 from the cash register on Nov. 22. Police charged the juvenile with theft by unlawful taking or disposition (movable property).
Retail theft – At 4:27 p.m. Nov. 29, police responded to Target in North Cornwall Township after Nannette Ramos, 45, stole merchandise valued at $307.70 from the store. Police took Ramos into custody and charged her with misdemeanor retail theft.
Identity theft, forgery – On Dec. 3, police apprehended Chelsae Coleman, 37, following the issuance of an arrest warrant resulting from a fraud investigation that alleged Coleman stole funds from a 79-year-old North Lebanon Township woman while serving as her caregiver. Police charged Coleman with felony identity theft, felony forgery, felony financial exploitation of an older adult or care-dependent person, felony theft by deception, and felony access device fraud.
Arrest warrant served – On Dec. 3, MDJ Kim Wolfe issued an arrest warrant against Sebastian Gudelski, 18, stemming from a vehicle theft investigation. On Dec. 10, police arrested Gudelski on the warrant.
Purchase, consumption, possession, or transportation of alcohol – At 12:57 a.m. Dec. 5, police responded to the 1700 block of North 7th Street in North Lebanon Township for a 19-year-old man was who under the influence of alcohol. Police charged the underage man with summary purchase, consumption, possession, or transportation of alcohol.
Simple assault, harassment – At 4:01 p.m. Dec. 8, police responded to the 300 block of North 19th Avenue in North Lebanon Township for a domestic disturbance, during which Ramon Rodriguez, 42, assaulted a female subject. Police charged Rodriguez with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment.
Public drunkenness – At 2:30 p.m. Dec. 9, police responded to Rutter’s in West Lebanon Township and found a 34-year-old man intoxicated in public. Police charged him with summary public drunkenness.
Retail theft – At 2:31 p.m. Dec. 12, police responded to Target in North Cornwall Township after Riley Himmelberger, 26, stole merchandise valued at $342.09 from the store. Police charged Himmelberger with misdemeanor retail theft.
Arrest warrant served – On Dec. 12, police arrested Joshua Erausquin-Maysonet, 37, on an arrest warrant, with the original charges being misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, summary disorderly conduct, and summary public drunkenness.
Unexpected call for service – Officer Nichols responded to a report of “suspicious lights” at Neversink Fire Company and found Santa’s sleigh parked out front.
Standard procedure followed:
- Scene secured
- Firefighters notified
- Santa verified (ID checked twice and confirmed on the nice list)
Officer Nichols then graciously provided sleigh security while Santa grabbed a quick milk and cookies break with the fire crew, followed by a trip around North Cornwall Township.
No incidents, no citations. Christmas remains on schedule. A reminder to all that even Santa needs police support sometimes. Happy holidays from the Lebanon County Regional Police Department.

Millcreek Township
Harassment – At 11:20 p.m. Nov. 26, a 50-year-old Newmanstown man caused injury to his spouse, a 40-year-old Newmanstown woman, on South Millbach Road.
Union Township
Vehicle accident, DUI – At 10:40 p.m. Nov. 30, Victor Quinteros-Garcia, 21, of Plainfield, New Jersey, operated a black 2010 Jeep Liberty in the area of Allentown Boulevard and Maple Lane while under the influence of drugs. The Jeep was traveling east on SR 22 when it sideswiped a concrete barrier on the left shoulder and came to rest on the right shoulder. It is unknown if Quinteros-Garcia was wearing a seatbelt but he sustained no injuries. Police charged Quinteros-Garcia with DUI and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Western Lebanon County Regional
Resisting arrest, disorderly conduct – Around 5:47 p.m. Nov. 29, police responded to Turkey Hill in Annville for a report of an intoxicated subject. The subject refused to identify himself and struggled with officers while being taken into custody. He was later identified as Christopher McCall, 32, of Elizabethville. On Nov. 30, a criminal complaint was filed with MDJ Ditzler’s office, charging McCall with misdemeanor resisting arrest, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, summary public drunkenness, and summary restriction on alcoholic beverages.
Operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock – At 4:48 a.m. Dec. 2, police pulled over a vehicle on the 300 block of South Railroad Street in Palmyra. The driver, Derek Lester, 27, was found to be operating a vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock as required, and driving without inspection or emissions. Lester was also found to have an active warrant out of York County and was taken into custody. Police charged Lester with misdemeanor operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock and additional traffic violations.
Simple assault, harassment – Around 3:16 p.m. Dec. 3, police responded to the 300 block of West Main Street in Palmyra for a report of a physical domestic dispute. Police determined that Melissa Gass, 48, assaulted another person, causing multiple injuries. Police took Gass into custody and charged her with misdemeanor simple assault (domestic violence-related) and summary harassment.
Simple assault, harassment – At 7 p.m. Dec. 7, police responded to a call for service on the 800 block of West Main Street in Palmyra and arrested Brittney Howarth, 35, for misdemeanor simple assault (domestic violence-related) and summary harassment.
Retail theft – Police charged Dillon Barnett, 28, with felony retail theft after an incident at Sheetz in Palmyra at 11:51 p.m. Dec. 8. Police transported Barnett to LCCB with bail set at $1,000 secured.
Robbery, receiving stolen property, theft, disorderly conduct – At 6:06 p.m. Dec. 10, police responded to Calabria Pizza in Palmyra for reports of a strong-arm robbery of a cellphone. Minutes later, police received reports of a similar incident at the Sheetz in Palmyra. It was reported that the suspect fled the scene in a black Mercedes. The suspect in both incidents was quickly located, arrested, and identified as Jairo Santana Rodriguez, 28. The Mercedes was reported stolen from Allentown earlier in the day. Police charged Santana Rodriguez with felony robbery, felony receiving stolen property, misdemeanor theft, misdemeanor receiving stolen property, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and two summary traffic violations. MDJ Warner set bail at $100,000 secured, and he was placed in LCCF.
