A man shot and killed by troopers Wednesday morning in his Jackson Townhip home had a kitchen knife in his hand and an open Bible nearby, his parents said. The investigation started with a “Cybertip” from the social media application “Kik” flagging possible child pornography on June 1, 2025, and another tip on June 2, 2025 for possible child molestation.
