Bethel Township
Criminal mischief under $1,000 – An incident occurred at 12 p.m. Dec. 24 on North Pine Grove Street involving a 22-year-old Bethel man’s front door being damaged by a known actor while he was not there. Charges are pending.
Vehicle accident – At 10:29 p.m. Dec. 3, a crash occurred as a marked Pennsylvania State Police Ford Police Interceptor was traveling north on South Pine Grove Street near Elk Drive. The 2024 Ford Explorer, driven by a 51-year-old Denver man, struck a deer carcass on the road. The Ford sustained minor damage to its undercarriage. The man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
City of Lebanon
Drug possession – Around midnight Dec. 24, police pulled over an electric scooter driven by Christian Melendez-Emmanuelli, 23. Police charged Melendez-Emmanuelli with possession of a controlled substance and multiple traffic offenses.
Disorderly conduct, public intoxication – Around 7:16 p.m. Dec. 21, police responded to the 1100 block of Chestnut Street for a disturbance. They located James Placek, 66, who was under the influence of alcohol, and identified him as the source of the disturbance. Police charged Placek with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and possession of a controlled substance.
Public drunkenness, drug offenses – Around 11:46 a.m. Dec. 21, police responded to the 300 block of Cumberland Street and determined that Ramon Ramirez, 44, was the source of a disturbance. Police charged him with public drunkenness and multiple drug offenses.
Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer – At 4:18 a.m. Dec. 21, police attempted to pull over a vehicle on the 900 block of Lehman Street for multiple traffic infractions. After the police vehicle activated its emergency lights and sirens, the suspect vehicle attempted to flee. Police subsequently located the vehicle and identified the driver as Wilfredo Arias-Rosario, 22. Police charged Arias-Rosario with multiple traffic offenses, including fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.
Simple assault – On Dec. 20, police responded to the 1300 block of Cumberland Street for a well-being check and located two individuals showing signs of injury. Police took William Lebron, 62, into custody and charged him with simple assault (domestic violence-related).
Resisting arrest – Police charged Shaquasia Kilburn, 32, with resisting arrest following an incident at 4 p.m. Dec. 20 on the 500 block of East Cumberland Street when police attempted to take her into custody on a warrant.
DUI – Around 3:20 a.m. Dec. 20, police responded to the 1400 block of Oak Street for a crash and identified the driver as Bobby Jones, 46. Police arrested Jones for DUI-alcohol and/or a controlled substance, and charged Jones with DUI and multiple traffic offenses.
Indecent assault – Police charged Dale Brandt, 52, with indecent assault after he groped a female on the 100 block of North 11th Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 5.
Theft by unlawful taking – On Dec. 5, police investigated a theft of a cellphone at 10:26 a.m. Dec. 2 on the 400 block of South 8th Street. Police identified the suspect as Kedrin Sanchez Figueroa, 21, and charged him with theft by unlawful taking.
DUI – Around 10:15 p.m. Nov. 26, police responded to the 200 block of South 6th Street after a vehicle driven by Carl Karter, 76, struck a parked vehicle. Police said Karter exited his vehicle and entered a home. Police arrested him for DUI-alcohol.
DUI, traffic offenses – Police arrested Adolfo Carnerero, 35, for DUI-alcohol and multiple traffic offenses following a crash investigation conducted at 10:23 p.m. Oct. 13 on the 500 block of Walnut Street.
Drug possession – Police charged William Taylor, 42, with possession of a controlled substance and other drug offenses following an incident at 10:47 p.m. Oct. 12 on the 600 block of Walnut Street.
Defiant trespass – Around 9 a.m. Oct. 2, police investigated a trespass incident on the 00 block of Canal Street and discovered that a woman, later identified as Jessica Lambert, 39, had unlawfully entered a building where she did not reside. Police charged Lambert with defiant trespass.
DUI – Around 1:21 a.m. Sept. 5, police responded to the area of 8th and Willow streets for an unresponsive male in a vehicle on the road. Police made contact with Duran Ramos, 34, and determined that no medical emergency was actively occurring. Police took Ramos into custody and arrested him for DUI-alcohol.
Public drunkenness, drug possession – Police charged Ivonne Delarosa, 52, with public drunkenness and possession of a controlled substance after responding to a disturbance call at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 29 in the area of 4th and Weidman streets. Charges were filed upon the receipt of drug lab results.

Jackson Township
Theft of lost property – A 50-year-old Lebanon man dropped his wallet, which was later picked up by an unknown person, at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 15 on South College Street.
Lebanon County Regional
Drug possession, restrictions on alcoholic beverages – At 8:07 a.m. Dec. 26, police responded to Lenni Lenape Park in North Lebanon Township and found a 17-year-old male in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia. The vehicle that the juvenile occupied had several open alcoholic beverage containers. Police charged the juvenile with misdemeanor possession of a small amount of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and restrictions on alcoholic beverages.
Retail theft – On Dec. 12, police arrested Riley Himmelberger, 25, for retail theft at Target in North Cornwall Township after an investigation revealed that Himmelberger committed eight retail thefts at Target from June 2024 to November 2025. Police charged Himmelberger with misdemeanor retail theft for the thefts.
Retail theft – At 12:19 p.m. Nov. 25, police responded to a retail theft at Lowe’s Home Improvement in North Cornwall Township. The investigation revealed that Hervey Medina-Cruz, 47, stole merchandise on four consecutive days, with a total value of $1,192. Police charged Medina-Cruz with felony retail theft.
Theft by unlawful taking – On Nov. 9, police responded to Sheetz in North Cornwall Township for a theft of an electric bike. Police had a description of the bike and a white male who had taken it between 11 p.m. Nov. 8 and 1 a.m. Nov. 9. The following day, an officer encountered a suspect at Rutter’s and identified him as Colton Allen, 22. Allen admitted to taking the bike. Police charged Allen with misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking.
DUI, driving while suspended – At 3:16 a.m. Nov. 2, police pulled over a vehicle on the 2500 block of West Cumberland Street in Lebanon for traffic offenses. The driver, Juan Alverio Martinez, 48, was under the influence of alcohol and had a DUI-suspended license, police said. Police arrested Alverio Martinez and charged him with two counts of misdemeanor DUI-alcohol or controlled substance, two counts of summary driving while suspended, summary turning movements and required signals, and summary careless driving.
Myerstown Borough
Vehicle accident – At 12 a.m. Dec. 30, bicycle struck the rear of a 2006 Subaru Outback parked on the right shoulder in the 200 block of South Railroad Street, then left the scene, heading north on South Railroad Street. No injuries were reported.
Vehicle accident – At 12:36 p.m. Dec. 18, a 2008 Mercury Mariner driven by a 62-year-old Myerstown man was traveling west on West Washington Avenue, and a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 26-year-old Myerstown woman, accompanied by a 12-year-old Myerstown female and a 9-year-old Myerstown female, was traveling south on North Locust Street. The Mercury stopped at the stop sign, attempted to proceed through the intersection, and struck the Chevrolet. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene by RJ Sells Towing. All occupants were wearing seatbelts, sustained suspected minor injuries, and refused medical care. Police charged the driver of the Mercury with duties at a stop sign.
South Lebanon Township
Simple assault, recklessly endangering another person – Around 11:16 p.m. Dec. 26, police responded to the 300 block of Wheatstone Lane for a domestic assault. Police arrested Joseph Thorpe, 43, for allegedly assaulting an individual inside the home and discharging a firearm into an interior wall. Thorpe faces charges of misdemeanor simple assault (domestic violence-related) and misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident – At 12:32 a.m. Dec. 29, a 2005 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 23-year-old Lancaster woman was involved in a crash at the roundabout on South Forge Road at Northside Drive. The woman said she was traveling south on South Forge Road when she struck the curb, popped the curb, and landed in the grass at Community Bible Church. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Vehicle accident – At 3:56 p.m. Dec. 23, police responded to the area of Palmyra Road and West Market Street, where a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Palmyra woman struck a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Palmyra man while she was entering traffic on Palmyra Road. No injuries were reported.
Vehicle accident – Around 1:40 p.m. Dec. 21, a 2012 Volvo S60 driven by a 19-year-old Elverson man was traveling in the left lane of I-76 East near mile marker 236.8. Police said the man fell asleep and the Volvo failed to negotiate a right curve, continuing into the concrete barrier and coming to an uncontrolled stop, partially blocking the left lane. The man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
Vehicle accident – At 10 a.m. Dec. 2, a 2025 Nissan Sentra was traveling west in the left lane of I-76 West near mile marker 260.7 when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and hit the center concrete median, sustaining damage.
Vehicle accident – Around 9:57 a.m. Dec. 2, a 2015 Toyota 4-Runner driven by a 44-year-old Frederick, Maryland, man was traveling east in the left lane of I-76 East near mile marker 262.4 while it was snowing. Police said the road was snow-covered, slick, and icy and, as the Toyota traveled through a right curve and began merging into the right lane, the rear of the vehicle started to slide. The man lost control and the vehicle slid into a high embankment. The Toyota traveled up the embankment before overturning and spinning, coming to a stop in the right lane. Passing motorists later pushed it onto the shoulder. The man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
Vehicle accident – At 7:50 a.m. Dec. 2, a crash occurred on I-76 West near mile marker 262.1 when a 2024 Ford F-150XLT driven by a 41-year-old Phoenixville man lost traction with the slush-covered road while exiting a left curve. The Ford left the road and entered a ditch, striking a fence and tree. The man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Police charged him with driving vehicle at a safe speed.
Vehicle accident – At 5:23 a.m. Dec. 2, a crash occurred on I-76 East near mile marker 262.1 involving a 2018 Hino driven by a 30-year-old Campbell, Ohio, man. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Police charged him with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Vehicle accident – At 3:25 p.m. Dec. 1, a 2010 BMW 328I and a 2021 Cadillac XT4 were eastbound on I-76 near mile marker 260. According to police, the Cadillac turned into the left lane to pass another vehicle, and the BMW turned into the left lane while following the Cadillac too closely. The Cadillac braked and the BMW rear-ended it. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Police charged the BMW driver with drivers required to be licensed and the Cadillac driver with regulation of traffic on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Union Township
Vehicle accident – Around 6:07 a.m. Jan. 1, a crash occurred on state Route 72 at the off-ramp of state Route 22 while the road was slippery and snow-covered. A 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE Class Model Line driven by a 56-year-old Harrisburg woman was exiting from Route 22 East onto Route 72 South. The Mercedes-Benz crashed into the concrete barrier separating the north and south lanes of Route 72, sustaining damage on the driver’s side, but was able to relocate to the Turkey Hill parking lot at Jonestown Road. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.
DUI – A DUI incident occurred at 12:48 a.m. Dec. 28 on state Route 72 involving a gray 2009 Acura MDX driven by a 47-year-old Swiftwater man.
Western Lebanon County Regional
Found dog – The white and brown male dog pictured below was found running loose around 9 p.m. Dec. 29 on the 100 block of North Chestnut Street in Palmyra. Anyone with information regarding the dog’s owner should contact the Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department at 717-838-8188.

Hit-and-run – At 8:10 p.m. Dec. 19, police responded to East Main and South Manheim streets for a crash involving a struck pedestrian. The suspect vehicle fled south on South Manheim Street prior to police arrival. The pedestrian suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital. The vehicle was described as a silver SUV, possibly a Buick, with a rounded back end. It is unknown if the vehicle has damage to its front end from the crash. The driver was described as a skinny white man about 5’10”, with brown hair and a bushy beard and mustache, wearing an all-black chef’s or kitchen outfit. Anyone who has a camera that sees East Main or South Manheim streets is asked to review its footage. Vandalism – On Dec. 19, police were advised of multiple acts of vandalism between the 200 and 400 blocks of West Cumberland, West Queen, and South Cherry streets on the southwest side of Annville Township, where someone spray-painted homes, doors, vehicles, and signs between 5 p.m. Dec. 18 and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 19. Anyone with a camera in the area is asked to review footage during the timeframe for a person walking and possibly carrying a can of spray paint.
