Many people have asked me privately who I support in the 48th District state Senate race.
For me, this election is about choosing someone who not only reflects the priorities and values we hold so dear in Central Pennsylvania, but also with the experience to successfully navigate the proverbial minefield that is the legislative process in Harrisburg to accomplish things that benefit Lebanon County.
In his first full term in office, Senator Chris Gebhard has shown that he is committed to advancing the kind of conservative agenda that the voters in our district support, including policies aligned with President Trump’s approach to economic growth, public safety, and government accountability.
Supporters of President Trump’s agenda often emphasize reducing unnecessary regulations, encouraging job creation, and keeping government spending in check. Chris has consistently worked toward those goals in Harrisburg by championing bills aimed at eliminating and reducing taxes, auditing spending, and holding bureaucratic agencies accountable.
I also appreciate the way he has worked with me, as well as other legislators across the entire 48th District, to bring meaningful investments back to our area. Under his leadership, our communities have secured millions of dollars in grants for infrastructure improvements, public safety upgrades, and local recreational projects that directly benefit residents. These are not abstract accomplishments; they are real, tangible results that improve daily life in our county.
Another quality that stands out is his accessibility. Chris has made a point of staying connected with the people he represents, listening to concerns, and being present at community events. That kind of engagement matters. It shows he understands that public service is about more than casting votes—it is about being accountable to the people who sent him to Harrisburg.
For those of us who want to see Pennsylvania continue moving in the right direction and avoid turning into a state that mirrors New Jersey or California, we need more people like Chris Gebhard in Harrisburg. His record reflects a steady, consistent effort to advance policies that protect our essential freedoms, support public safety, and advance our local economy.
Those who know my history are well aware of my disdain for outlandish claims made via campaign junk mail. I implore you to ignore that noise and focus on what’s important.
Actions speak louder than words. Experience counts. Results matter. Chris Gebhard has not risen to his role in leadership of the Pennsylvania Senate in his first elected term for no reason. He is an effective and respected legislator who fights for Lebanon County values.
